What happened in Turkish football today? 23/10/2020

Sivasspor needs to improve its defence for next week game.

Sivasspor despite of losing to Villarreal during Europa League Group I 1st week game did still provide very confident and strong performance with some possible attacking game finding 3 goals its time coming from behind but still needs to improve on defensive game.

Sivasspor it needs to be noted did provide very good performance with overpassing its expectation and provided some positive expectation for games against Maccabi Tel Aviv next week and also against Qarabag which are being seen as main opponents for 2nd spot while Villarreal if there would not be some surprising development in group should be getting easily to top spot. Still, this lesson as been noted does provide that side does have defensive issues as among 5 conceded goals, 3 of them been into level which are not acceptable in such level. Positive aspect is that following game Sivasspor head coach also identified this issue and with being aware of it certainly team would work on it for game against Maccabi Tel-Aviv.

Therefore, Sivasspor did provide pretty good confident performance without giving up against Villarreal equalising scoreline twice but did make some defensive issues which need to be worked on.

Galatasaray mentally need to focus to Erzurumspor game.

Galatasaray will be resuming its league journey with playing pretty in form side Erzurumspor during Super League 6th week, aiming to turn around its poor performance which it has shown so far during this season.

It needs to be noted that among decline of performance from Galatasaray which fails to win for 3 weeks, it seems to be having also some internal issues both among players and head coach Fatih Terim with administrators which without could provide destruction to whole side. So it does look it would need to forget about this issue and aim to provide strong attacking game which it did show in the start of the season with Radamel Falcao being once again key role and should focus once again into field as he also been among players who showed decline during this period. Erzurumspor on their part is being aware that there opponents are in poor condition and with being fresh as it didnt play for 3 weeks due of Hatayspor game being postponed due of Covid19 cases of opponent would surely try its best to get surprising result.

Trabzonspor player got Covid19 before Fenerbahce game.

Key for this game is for whole Galatasaray players and technical staff members to focus entirely to Erzurumspor game aiming to win it.

Prior to most anticipated of Super League 6th week game against Fenerbahce on 25th October, Trabzonspor has announced that another player has got positive Covid 19 test result making totally tally to 3.

It was already known that Abdulkadir Omur and Caleb Ekuban did get positive test results, and this number has been raised to 3 as unnamed player got positive result without being clear if its regular starting 11 player or not. With Trabzonspor being one of the few clubs who wasnt affected from virus in the end of last season after pandemic, its seems to be heavily affected during this season so far which needs to show that players would need to extra careful as team fails to show high level performance and this Covid19 positive results are not doing any better, especially before Fenerbahce game.

As always, our blog provides fast recovery from this virus to all who is currently affected and that this symptoms will not be serious.
