Besiktas dominated game against Denizlispor until red card of Souza
Besiktas has dominated during Super League 6th week game against Denizlispor up to 70th minute as direct red card from Josef de Souza has led for their opponents get more into game and reduce scoreline from 3:0 to 3:2.
It needs to be noted that prior to Souza red card, it didnt only get 3:0 scoreline but also provided much more better game which controlling ball, creating chances anf not allowing they opponents to get towards any opportunities with Hugo Rodallega shot from far away has been dangerous opportunity. Such dominance been mainly due of poor performance from Denizlispor in this game and from start of this season and also for strong willingness from Besiktas to win this game with Atiba Hutchinson been most experienced player providing specifcally outstanding game. However, Besiktas performance has been changed directly after Souza directly with making clear that it does have issues when playing with 10 to 11. With Denizlispor without doubt getting more belief on them part after red card and being almost close to get 1 point but not getting up, did allow Besiktas to get very important experience and lessons from this situation without losing points. It does look like an area which Sergen Yalcin needs to focus on for upcoming training session as this scenario will happen again for sure.
Denizlispor meanwhile did provide very poor game until red card Souza and didnt manage to control game in any area for sure, and even through it did come out as underdog this been one of the worst games this season. After having extra men it did provide good response, and needs to focus to show this whole game in upcoming weeks.
Besiktas did get crucial win with strong game 11-on-11 but it needs to get lessons from poor game when having one less men without doubt.
Fenerbahce showed promising attacking game on 2nd half.
Fenerbahce without doubt provided two different halves during Super League 6th week game against its historical rivals Trabzonspor with changing character entirely of the game with Erol Bulut changes.
It could be noted that if Fenerbahce does provide performance which it showed during 1st half it would have without doubt another successful season while performance during 2nd half would bring them title even some weeks before end of the season. Changing such player Jose Sosa, who is being midfielder, into forward player doesnt only get away one of most experienced players into field but does make midfielding section into more vulnerable condition, however this change is been on place especially when Trabzonspor did fail showing specifIcally attacking game, finding goal from mistakes made by Lemos and Sosa during 1st half. Performance of 1st half without doubt also made it clear that side is getting closer to attacking game which Erol Bulut is looking for and did get good outcome with agressive attacking tactics.
Without doubt, 2nd half of the game provides high hopes and it would be crucial to show such game with spreading to 90 minutes for sure.
Trabzonspor is lacking strong tactical game
Trabzonspor meanwhile continues to be struggling not only with results which it gets in this season but also providing some poor performance with signs of low motivation from players.
Even through Eddie Newton was appointed with high expectations and hopes, he wasnt able to get maximum level which been especially noticed with losing to Basaksehirspor and Fenerbahce and also openning week against Besiktas which currently struggles in league. In this game,it has been specifically noticed that side does fail to show good game and only looked better then Fenerbahce on 1st half due of game which opponent showed. It was clear that when Fenerbahce would raise its performance and tempo, Trabzonspor will not be able to response to it, which is exactly what happened during game. With rumours that Trabzonspor considers to end contract with Newton due of such poor performance, Eddie Newton needs to focus while he is on job to turn around this.
Trabzonspor looks to be lacking confidence and motivation which it needs to sort urgently for not making this season to be very problematic for them.
