Sofiane Feghouli red card has been turning point for both sides.
Trabzonspor has kept its title hopes arrive as it has won one of its rivals Galatasaray with 3:1 away win and has kept with point difference with leaders Basaksehirspor with 2 points while Galatasaray hopes for Champions League are getting almost none as its being 9 points behind Trabzonspor with 4 games left during this season.
It needs to be noted that turning point for both clubs has been red card recieved by Sofiane Feghouli which could been seen pretty not needed red card as player has kicked to Trabzonspor player on chest while falling to floor with feeling pain. Following red card, Trabzonspor has provided much more effective performance with going much forward during game and did get penalty kick which Sosa did converted and slowly got control of the ball. Galatasaray with losing this game, continue its dissapointing restart of the season not winning for 4 weeks and with surely losing its chances for title has also put its chances for 2nd Champions League spot into difficulty and in similar manner as Sivasspor could be losing Europa League. Without doubt how Feghouli has provided strong advantage and motivation for Trabzonspor, without doubt it has provided huge loss of concentration and motivation to Galatasaray. It needs to be admitted that it did create some good chances and did provide some good performance despite of some injuries and one man absent,it was clear it would have trouble to show comeback especially after 2:0. Side could be praisaed for positive performance showed but it is clear that club does have difficulty with all injuries and last 4 games during this interesting season will not be easy for them.
Trabzonspor has continued its catching up game towards Basaksehirspor with only being 2 points behind leaders, but without doubt side cant afford to be losing any points for next 4 games. While Galatasaray continues to lose points and could lose its top 4 spot.
Sivasspor continues providing ineffective performance.
Sivasspor fails to win 3rd game back-to-back this time ending Super League 30th week game against Kasimpasa with goalless draw and finding itself with 9 points behind leaders Basaksehirspor with 4 weeks until end of the season.
As been noted beforehand on our blog, Sivasspor didnt get towards Super League following Covid19 break with providing very poor performance with winning its 1st game with difficulty and continued poor game in upcoming games. Still it needs to be noted that weather conditions did affect negatively point which been worried before this season especially during 1st half as it was heavy snow hitting into the field. Despite of all this, Sivasspor has been side which did create high amount of the chances back to back but did lack of the creativity at the front. It needs to be noted that Kasimpasa also had one less men due of red card, but Sivasspor even through did provide high level of chances in the front especially on 10 minutes but despite of dominating its chances but once again didnt convert their chances. However, Sivasspor did find goal during game from Kone but it has been turned away from VAR due of rightfully offise decision. It does look like Sivasspor both physically and mentally for last 4 weeks and needs to regain concentration for upcoming last 4 games or it could even also lose Europa League spot.
It needs to be noted that Kasimpasa didnt provide very good performance especially on attack focussing into defence and has ben focussed with reducing tempo of the game even through it needs to be admitted that weather affected negatively to general tempo of the game.
Sivasspor without doubt been one of the most affected during Covid19 break and find itself pretty far from title race and if it continues providing such performamce it could find itself outside of Europa League in the end of this season.
Basaksehirspor believes it can win title.
Basaksehirspor did get very important win against Antalyaspor during Super League 30th week which was expected to be one of the most difficult games left for team during this season, but it did get win from once again calm and organised game.
It is hard to note that Basaksehirspor did provide strong and high tempo but its main ways of getting crucial points which currently puts them as main contend for title in this season, is to provide calm and organised performance in each of the field. Without doubt one of the main players of this game has been Demba Ba who didnt only find winning goal during game but also found high amount of the chances and pushed team forward feeling role of absent Edin Visca in very crucial performance. Of course, none of the games are easily won and needs to give extra effort but with 2 point advantage of last 4 games and also playing with not very difficult opponent on its fixture, it would be coming out with high advantage over Trabzonspor. Most important Basaksehirspor looks to be side which highly focussed into league title.
Without doubt Basaksehirspor has belief it can win title this season and with such confidence and motivation will come out for last 4 games.
