Galatasaray keeps its small chance for 3rd spot with win against Goztepe
Galatasaray has got its 1st win since resume of the league following Covid19 break beating Goztepe with 3:1 scoreline and kept its low chances for 3rd spot at the table even through it would be waiting for loss of points of Sivasspor and Besiktas on 19th July.
As been noted on our blog yesterday, both sides did come out in similar poor performance with both getting only 2 points following Covid19 break but since Galatasaray had small opportunity for 3rd spot, Goztepe didnt have any aims at all which would let Istanbul giant to be more motivated for game. It needs to be noted that this how game has took place as Galatasaray provided much more attacking game from beginning of the game, looking to create chances even through it needs to be noted it didnt get too much dangerous chances. However, things didnt change during 2nd half with Galatasaray providing very high level performance. In fact, even through this game is being not as much as important as games on 19th July, Marcelo Sarracchi great goal on 60th minute is very likely to be best goal of this week. Following conceding goal from Napoleoni, Galatasaray has continued its focus in the game with finding 2 goals. This result still keep small hopes for side for 3rd spot, but its in difficult condition to achieve that.
Goztepe as was expected due of being far from Europe but in same time far from relegation zone and only getting 2 points, it was expected from them to provide poor performance without much motivation and focus which did lead them to lose game with 3:1 scoreline.
Galatasaray has got 1 point closer to Besiktas and Sivasspor 2 points but both their opponents have game in hand so loss of points of their opponents would keep them hopes for 3rd spot, but it does look unlikely.
Basaksehirspor just needs win but it wont to win title with 1 week before end of season.
Basaksehirspor would be coming to Super League 33rd week game against Kayserispor knowing that it would get its 1st title in its history with win against their opponent and this being achieved with 1 week until end of the season.
Even through Basaksehirspor without doubt would be coming out to the game with only aiming to get win and in fact even with negative loss from game it would be coming with advantage to last week which could reduce pressure to team, it would be playing against opponent which gives all their effort to stay in the league which could be also with recent week performance. Even through compare to previous seasons, Basaksehirspor in overall is having much more confident conclusion of the season it did look out of form and possibly at stress during last week against Denizlispor. It is important during this game to provide high focus into set task and provide its tactical, strong and organised performance. Kayserispor on their part without doubt would be giving its strong performance to get such crucial at least point to stay on league. For both sides this game is very important, one who would want this game more would be victorious.
This game without doubt would be very competitive and both sides would give their best and strongest performance, but Basaksehirspor is having advantage since hunger for title especially 1st one is always more.
Trabzonspor needs to stay focussed during whole game.
With taking account that possibility of Kayserispor beating Basaksehirspor, are not very low Trabzonspor does have chances to keep title race until last week but with how side competes in recent weeks this is also not for certain without doubt.
As been noted, Trabzonspor did lose its golden opportunity last week to get 1 point behind league leaders and to some extend if their lose title this could be main reason during whole season.
Trabzonspor would be providing its best performance but Denizlispor who did get great win against Basaksehirspor, result which kept title race still going to this week would be aiming to repeat such result against Trabzonspor especially taking account it is fighting for staying at the league. Statistically worst thing which could happen is for Trabzonspor to get ahead during game, as it lost 27 points in such conditions. Trabznspor hence needs to be providing aggresive attacking game which played crucial role for wins during this season but also focus into defensive game if it wants to win and hope for Basaksehirspor to lose points in parallel game. Denizlispor without doubt as been noted will not give easy time to them, and their need to be aware of this.
Trabzonspor as been noted will not to show strong balance game and stay focussed without thinking about Basaksehirspor game which would start same time.
