Losing title could affect negatively to confidence of Trabzonspor.
Despite of the fact that Trabzonspor would be coming to Turkish Cup final game as favourites, it does have some disadvantage prior to game due of the fact that it could be going through trauma of losing league title when being so close.
Even through this could be also seen as advantage and provide extra motivation to whole club, with losing title in recent period of time could also reduce focus and confidence before such important game, where comes role of head coach and with club being without it, this role would be taken by caretaker coach Eddie Newton and it is questionable if he would be able to take this role. Still, if Trabzonspor would provide focus and provide performance which it showed for amount of season focussing into attacking game it does have chance but without doubt it needs to be solving defensive issue as their opponent does provide positive attacking football without doubt. Alanyaspor head coach Erol Bulut during recent seasons has provided pretty strong performance in mediocre sides with pushing them into maximum level showing good performance both in league and Turkish Cup. With also possibility for him to be leaving Alanyaspor after this game he would be also focussing to end his career in this side with winning for them Turkish Cup. Other importance of this game for them,is that if that get Turkish Cup it would mean directly entry to Europa League next season rather then going difficult qualification period which would provide extra motivation. With side providing strong positive performance for most part of the season including Turkish Cup it could give its best chance to win this highly deserved cup.
Alanyaspor had memorable season and ending with Turkish Cup would be strawberry on the top of the cake without doubt.
Clubs Union requests for relegation not to take place
Clubs Union which had meeting with all clubs has put into top of its agenda question of taking away relegation of this past season and raise number of clubs during next season to 21,with stating economical issues which came due of Covid19.
This matter has been reopened after its been actively discussed during meeting where plans of how leagues to be resumed been discussed back on May where with high criticism decision has been approved. Our page also been against it believing that it would effect ending of season quite negative manner and raise match fixing. To some extend, discussing this issue right now does take though different stance as leagues to be completed. Main argument is that clubs did been negatively affected from Covid especially economically and being relegated could have some big issues which could lead all the way to bankruptcy. Hence, it is important for TFF to take this issue from economical stance to see how being relegated could have negative impact since reason is also related into financial issues without doubt.
It would be interesting what decision would TFF take right now for this request, but high number of clubs supporting this idea does make this stance strong without doubt.
