TFF considers to play Turkish Cup final with supporters.
TFF administrator AliDurmaz has stated that their aim to have Turkish Cup final on mid-July with possibility of playing with supporters if health condition does allow in the country which is of course is hard to be known for sure as daily condition is getting better but still above expectation.
TFF did mention about its aims to end this season with supporters on the field but it is hard to provide certainly if that would be case as this virus did cover and as our blog did state several times during break that everything depends into how Covid19 behaves. It is important to acknowledge how Covid19 statistically acts are being much better number and it looks like 2nd wave will be prevented until autumn, but it still above what was expected. It is true that number of countries are practicising but countries such as Denmark which looks to be among ones which treat issue at high level does follow this rule in strong level without much break of rules while Russia tends to have issue with how to use it effectively and reported to break issues in weekly basis. With Turkey having some issues with people following Covid19 rules in all fairness, it is hard to expect for fans to follow rules strictly in stadium.
It is possible with how thing develop in country to play with fans in the end of the season but its hard to predict how virus would spread.
Start of new season on 15th August would only raise problems.
Super League clubs and TFF might be getting into another conflict of interest as it is reported and been confirmed by Fenerbahce CEO Ali Koc calls for 2020-21 season to be restarted on 15th August to make sure it could have calm season until Euro 2020 but clubs are not unhappy with this date.
With leagues to be ending on 27th July and Basaksehirspor having to play at least 1 and maximum 4 games at Europa League in August, would give clubs very limited time to get prepared for upcoming season both in sense of transfer and pre-season training camp. In addition for 2 months break due of Covid19, it needs to be admitted that players didnt get break which their wanted to and hence it would affect how their get ready for next season. Risk of injuries could be even more. Reasonable date to restart league hence for sure would be earliest September and possibly put some games in mid-week. Plus there is no guarantee that Euro 2020 would be started on 11th June 2021 in all fairness.
Therefore, it would be reasonable for TFF to go through this suggested date as date of 15th August would only raise issues for clubs.
Monaco calls back Henry Onyekuru from Galatasaray
It became clear that Monaco has called back its player Henry Onyekuru back from Galatasaray loan stating that loan deal even through FIFA did mention that clubs can keep those players until end of the season.
Among this being surprising and to some extend unenthical decision, there is hope that this decision been done from unawareness from Monaco and it would be change this demand as it is being breaking to some extend rules and Galatasaray to complain about this. In addition for Henry Onyekuru would like to stay in the club and even be transferred for next season, he would be unlikely show eager to return to club. It also important to note that Onyekuru is being clear player for team and would need him especially now as it has number of injuries and focussed to end season at least in top 2.
As been noted, this is being unexpectable development and we would follow how this story would develop in our pages.
