Fenerbahce would aim for a win against new-comers Goztepe.
Fenerbahce is going to start 2017-18 Super League season with newcomers of the league Goztepe, which is only representative from 3rd biggest city in Turkey would aim to provide also good start. But Fenerbahce in other hand has totally different aims for this season in overall.
It needs to be noted that Fenerbahce has been changed from Dick Advocaat version and has set its task to get league title with also providing different football performance from previous season, during which it was never was able to reach its potentiality. With number of strong transfers it would certainly provide good performance with Mathieu Valbuena once again being one of the key players at the game tomorrow. One of the downsides of the game is certainly will be factor that it would be played without fans, and as it is known Goztepe has very good fanbase and hence their absence would certainly affect to character of the game. Stating that, it could be actually be even to advantage to Fenerbahce as Goztepe might not have pushing power which it usually recieves from its strong and dedicated fans.
As it is known 1st week games are tough ones due of not having enough practice but with Europa League 3rd qualifying games and friendlies with strong teams does provide Fenerbahce with knowing its weaknesses prior to game.
Fenerbahce has loaned Zenit player Giuliano
Staying with Fenerbahce, it became clear today that team has made loan deal with Zenit St.Petersburg Giuliano who has managed to score 17 goals during last season in Russia and aims to continue his strong performance as he aims to get to the Brasil National Team squad for World Cup 2018.
In fact, there is strong belief that Fenerbahce has managed to loan Giuliano at best time with his performance and also his aiming to go to Russia next summer. Even through playing at midfield he is known to go forward and migth even find very good chances at goal which is proven by amount of goals he scored in Russia last season. There is talks also that in the contract there is clause of 6 million euro of signing player. Roberto Mancini decision without doubt decision not to use him for next season has been seen as suprise and unusual decision but as it became clear it ended up being good news for Fenerbahce as it got very good player for next season. With Giuliano getting used to the Super League for a while is expected to provide good performance.
Giuliano could be best purchase in recent years at Turkish Super League in the sense of timing which
have been discussed above and is expected to show great performance this season at his team.
Besiktas has transferred Garry Medel.
Besiktas has made loan deal with Inter Milan player Gary Medel who has also become another addition to the defence of the team which has been weakest point for recent years at the team. Even through Pepe transfer is strong one, it needed another transfer at defence which it found from Medel.
Gary Medel in style of play to some extend reminds of aggressive behaviour of Felipe Melo, hence with both being nicknamed Pitbull. Of course, this behaviour could be a worrying for Besiktas and could be one of the reason which according to rumours that Besiktas head coach Senol Gunes didnt want him at squad. But in other hand as long as he doesnt do there must be an agressive defender especially in Super League where the contact is even closer than in other countries. But once again as long as he keeps his nerves down as many cards could raise lots of problem within team. Garry

On paper,it does look like Besiktas has solved its biggest weaknesses at the field but as we always say time would show how Pepe and Gary Medel partnership would work in this season.
