Besiktas are favourites over Olympiakos but its not easy game.
Besiktas would carry on Europa League as only competitor from Turkey at the European competitions last 16 1st leg game against Olympiakos where its coming out as favourite, the note which been realised by Greek side themselves as their look worried for tomorrow game.
Even through Besiktas does come out as favourites for the game and in overall are seen to be in better form compare to opponents, and in fact of all the clubs at the competition, Olympiakos would see tomorrow game as the game to start getting good results once again as it has lost 3 games back-to-back, which makes even more eye-catching statistic taking account that in total their have lost 6 games in Greek league. Another aspect of the Greek side that it has terminated contract with its head coach Joao Pinto which even through could be seen as an advantage to the Besiktas, it could turn also to be opposite as the Olympiakos players would give extra fight and motivation for this game. Galatasaray CEO Dursun Ozbek has told his members not to make statements before and after game.
Following resignation of the Galatasaray administrator Nasuhi Sezgin for his statements following Antalyaspor game at the Super League 23rd week game stating that some games has been lost by players has provided shock reaction and hence decision to resign.
According to reports at the Turkish media, this statement has made Galatasaray CEO Dursun Ozbek very angry and provided harsh words towads Sezgin which has led him to made him to resign from his post. Dursun Ozbek has became aware that with this statements giving only problems, as Levent Nazifoglu has been referred to Professional Football Disciplinary Committee following statements to the Turkish sports show in television, has told to all administrators do not make any statements prior and after games. This decision has been focussed so the club will not recieve more fines and damages to the name of the club and during this difficult economical times at the club those statements has this risk.
This decision by Dursun Ozbek should be taking as right one according to circumstances and also enomical situation at the club currently, as it became clear some administators are not be being careful enough with statements.
Oleksandr Karavayev doesnt recieve much game-time to prove himself at Fenerbahce.
As it is remembered, the only transfer which was made by Fenerbahce during mid-season transfer break was half season loan of the Shakhtar Donetsk player Oleksandr Karavayev who unfortunately for the club and himself didnt provide much impressive performance as expected and is not being selected to the team right now.
It needs to be reminded that when he joined team and during first friendly games and in some games he was provided pretty good performance but later had decreased his performance. This factors could also be related to the factor that Ukrainian football season was on long term break and also getting used to the new country and league. Otherwise, it is known that Karavayev was happy to join team and give his best. It also needs to be reminded that he doesnt recieve must game play which could be necessarily for player to be used to the league and team. Of course, it could be case that Fenerbahce head coach Dick Advocaat, who knows to be strict is not happy with his performance at the training sessions and hence doesnt select him to the team.
In other words, if Karavayev had recieved more game time he would be able to provide much better performance and improvement or otherwise it turns to be that Karavayev will have wasteful half season and not big help to the team.
