Kasimpasa has got an advantegous scoreline afther the 1st leg of quarter-final game against Rizespor.
Kasimpasa has got an advantage scoreline at the Turkish Cup quarter-final 1st leg game at home with 2:0 scoreline against Rizespor with all the goals coming during 2nd half.
This tie at the quarter-final stage as would been expected would been too close to call as the difference between two sides its not too big including from performance of two teams at the Super League. It needs to be stated that the advantage of today's game among playing at home would also been motivated by the team which wants to be successful at the Turkish Cup even more with Kasimpasa showing more focus to the game. In fact, the 1st half of the game has been played at equal level with both teams being careful not to make too much mistake. It needs to be stated that game has almost ended with 1:0 scoreline which would been not big Kasimpasa advantage but as Fode Koita has found 2nd goal at the last moments of the game it has got a big advantage. Meanwhile, it needs to be noted that Rizespor did get good chances, but wasted them a lot.
Rizespor still has some good chances during 2nd leg game as it would be playing at home and likely to get support from fans in its field bigger than did Kasimpasa today, however the team itself needs to show same desire and high level performance as Kasimpasa did today to get a chance to get to 2nd round at the game which will take place on 5th April.
Galatasaray league title chance has been reduced a lot after losing to Besiktas.
Galatasaray carries on poor performance at the derby games at the recent years, and has lost the game against Besiktas during Super League 22nd week game. This result is specifically unsatisfactorily for them as it made chance to get league title even more harder, as it is now 10 points behind Besiktas.
It was expected for Galatasaray to provide an attacking football as it was game which it needed to win but to some extend it was visible that head coach Igor Tudor was looking for draw mainly due of factor that he was not sure that his team is at capability at the Besiktas and his aim was to at least stay at the race. It was observed that number of Galatasaray players are losing fighting spirit which was visible at the previous season and didnt go forward as strong as it was expected with them. In fact, their did create chances but when it came to last touch it was also missing especially from Bruma. It is true that goal scored by Talisca has been lucky for them and there was debatable penalty position, but whoever watched game would come to conclusion that even if penalty was given the chance of Galatasaray to win was always low.
Galatasaray are now have still chance to fight for 2nd place as it would bring Champions League qualification stage as it is currently with 8 points from Basaksehirspor but it does look like that biggest question will be who would end 3rd place, them or Fenerbahce.
Besiktas is one step closer to league title but it wont be easy.
Besiktas has recieved an important win against its opponents Galatasaray with 1:0 scoreline and currently are fighting for league title with surprise team of the season Basaksehirspor who are 4 points behind them. Even through number of Turkish sports media seems to announce Besiktas as champions its not as clear as that.
Despite of that, Besiktas does play most organised and strong football at the Super League right now and it does seem that if it carries on like that and might not have some surprising with results during this 13th week period would complete season as champions. However, as number of players and administrators state their need to stay focussed. Besiktas possibly didnt play a great football against Galatasaray, but it was based into tactically and organised game especially when draw will be good for them. It was mainly focussed into defence and not allow Galatasaray to win, which plays an important role for them for Galatasaray not to go attacking football from defenders. Anderson Talisca, even through being also lucky, has scored another goal from free-kick and due of strength of shot Fernando Muslera didnt have chance to respond as it got from header of Bruma to the goal.
Besiktas main opponent for league title are themselves and as long their carry on top peformance and stay focussed their have good chance to end season with another title in hand.
