What happened in Turkish football today? 06.06.2016

Turkish National Team is going at the great mood to the France.

Turkish National Team has arrived to France training camp prior to Euro2016 today in very high mood as it has ended pre-friendly period with a win against Slovenia with 1:0 scoreline. During the last 7 friendly games, Turkey has only lost to England with 2:1 scoreline.

Turkish National Team has provided careful game compare to Slovenia at the game yesterday due of factor of making sure for not getting injuries of its players prior to actual tournament. It was important to get a win in the sense of motivation regardless how that win has been achieved. Burak Yilmaz 5th minute goal, which was also his first for national team after 9 months, has provided motivation which much-needed especially to the Turkey as it performs according to its emotions. Turkish National Team is coming with a right mentality to the Euro2016 aware that games would be harder than those friendlies but playing against teams like England and Slovenia in this period has helped Turkey to stay focussed.

Its now time to focus entirely to the first game at the Euro2016 against Croatia which would be tough game at would be whole group which is among toughest at the tournament. If Turkey manages to get good result against Croatia it will be able to continue with good results at other two games at the group.

PSG are interested to transfer Mario Gomez

The question about the future of the Fiorentina  player Mario Gomez at the Besiktas, where he was loaned is still being uncertain if though Gomez does send warm words towards Besiktas. It was rumoured today that Paris Saint Germain might approach to Mario Gomez as Zlatan Ibrahimovic alternative.

With successful performance by Mario Gomez at the Besiktas this season and also recentry at German National Team quite naturally has provided big interest around Europe towards him and some big clubs being rumoured towards approaching him and trying to purchase him for the team. According to deal with Fiorentina, Besiktas would recieve 50% of transfer fee and therefore if it is uncapable of keeping him it needs to hope that he would be sold with high fee, which could be provided from PSG or other clubs. In other words, Besiktas has now two aims with Gomez either keep him at team or hope that he will move to team which will be willing to pay lots of money.

Besiktas administrators and head coach Senol Gunes keep stating that their will find alternative to
Mario Gomez without problems, but there are questions if that alternative will  provide same performance as him, as was case with Robin van Persie at Fenerbahce.

Fenerbahce has offered new contract to Hatem Ben Arfa.

Fenerbahce interest towards Nice player Hatem Ben Arfa is reported to get at the new high with its new offer it is rumoured to give. According to rumours, Fenerbahce is willing to provide 3-year contract with 3 million euro salary.

Hatem Ben Arfa has been at the transfer rumours at the Turkey for long time with Besiktas also showing high interests towards him. Ben Arfa became 2nd best player at French league after Zlatan Ibrahimovic during last season and hence its normal for such a big interest to transfer him. Taking account that Fenerbahce can make limited amount of transfers due of agreement with UEFA such a one good transfer could help a team without affecting them financially.

Meanwhile, it is also rumoured that for now Ben Arfa has recieved best offer from Fenerbahce, so we see how this story develops at next days or weeks.
