Turkey is not much weaker than Croatia
Turkish National Team is going to start its Euro 2016 campaign at the 1st week Group D game against Croatia at which it would surely aim to get positive result and kickstart the campaign at the positive note.
No doubt everyone at the team and also supporters of the Turkish National Team would be expecting for their team to get a win and start this campaign which contains lots of hopes and expectations with very good result. If Turkey manages to win Croatia, then it would also get control of the group due of the new format at the system. Croatia it needs to be stated is among strong teams at the tournament at which their is lots of expectations but same could be said about Turkey. In paper, with the players names of Croatia, it could be said that their come out as favourite but knowing Turkish football too well it can be said that everything can happen on this game. Turkey is expected to provide an attacking football using its wings in effective way as it being very strong on this area among standard balls.
It is very important for Turkey to start game pretty well against Croatia and control the game if it wants to get good result at the end of the day. Players needs to play with self-confidence and their can achieve good result at the end of the day.
Croatia would give it all against Turkey
The loss at the quarter-final of the Euro 2008 against Turkey still affected to the mentality of the team and it would be looking for revenge even through some argue that it has given that revenge back on Euro2012 qualifiers. Regardless how much Croatia, denies that it had affected with that game and has forgotten about it this game always been opened when taking interviews prior to game at their front.
Croatia as been mentioned above does have stronger and more experienced players compare to 8 years ago and it also looks for the tournament believing that it can provide lots of success. Therefore it would play against Turkey with only having on mind of winning the game taking account also being at such a tough group. This should be taken into the account when playing against them tomorrow. It will provide fast-paced football with focussing into the attacks and hence defence of the
Turkey would be one of the crucial areas of the game. This has all chance to be very exciting game where both teams would give all their best to win such a crucial game at the group which also has Spain and Czech Republic.
Since it is still hard to call outsider of the game both teams would also keep that on mind when playing such an important game tomorrow.
Fenerbahce claims that Gokhan Gonul was aiming to get lots of money.
As our blog in past day quite rightly has focussed into the Euro 2016 there is been some interesting development at the long story-line between Fenerbahce and Gokhan Gonul which ended with Gonul stating that he is ending contract with a team.
This ending of contract has turned into very strong criticism by Fenerbahce administrators making clear to the media that Gokhan Gonul wanted to stay at the team purely for the money, allegation which was denied by Gokhan Gonul. Administrators claim that both sides has agreed on extension but with Gokhan Gonul keep asking for raise of his salary the negotiations has been ended. With Fenerbahce player Gokhan Gonul staying at the team for 9 years and becoming symbol of the team this allegation does raise some doubts but once again its hard to now who is saying truth or not.
Fenerbahce administrator has said similar things also about Mehmet Topal, and hence similar developments could happen to Mehmet Topal. Right now, Gokhan Gonul is expected to move to Besiktas. There is even rumours that transfer has been agreed on but Gokhan Gonul wants for announcement to be made after Euro2016, so all heat between two parties would calm down.
