Fenerbahce might extend contracts with Mehmet Topal and Gokhan Gonul this weekend
Among uncertainty about future of the Gokhan Gonul at the Fenerbahce, there is also lots of talks if Fenerbahce would extend contract with its player Mehmet Topal. There are talks that the agreement however would be done over weekend and will be announced on 6th June.
Galatasaray is currently has stated to the Topal manager and to play himself that if deal for extension will not be made than the door is open for them for him to come to them. Fenerbahce administration even through are aware of importance of Gokhan Gonul and Mehmet Topal, does show in same time some uncertaintly if to extend contracts or not. Even through right now both players are free agents and can have negotiations with any clubs, as contract has expired on 31st May, their still taking Fenerbahce as priority. Right now the wait is on both players manager Batur Altiparmak, to arrive to Istanbul from Italy where he had negotiations with Inter Milan regarding of Caner Erkin transfer.
Fenerbahce does have two good and loyal players at its hand and it would be interesting to see what actions would their take with those players, as those decisions were delayed arleady.
Atiba Hutchinson might be leaving Besiktas
It became clear that Atiba Hutchinson brother has arrived to Besiktas facilities yesterday and has picked all of the personal belongings of his brother. This sudden action has raised question if Hutchinson has made or is very close at making deal with West Ham United.
Hutchinson has played an important role with his defensive performance at the Besiktas title taken this season and both team administrators and head coach Senol Gunes has stated that their dont have any intentions at selling him this summer. Ex- Besiktas head coach Slaven Bilic, who is currently West Ham United coach, has a big interest at purchasing players from his old club and Hutchinson is among them. Of course, this packing about bags could not be due of Hutchinson leaving club but since it is unclear this could be taken into different evaluations.
Atiba Hutchinson is very important player for a team whose defence is not great mainly due of selling Ersan Gulum to China and being key player at this position it will be hard to find replacement for him.
Turkish National Team strong asset is set pieces.
As the Euro 2016 is approaching, this blog will carry on discussing about the Turkish National Team. One of the strongest aspects of the team is the usage of set pieces with the players like Selcuk Inan and Hakan Calhanoglu.
It will be important for a team to use this chances in a great manner as both at this positions it able to score goals or make good assists which turn into goals. Hakan Calhanoglu has a capacity to convert each set piece into beautiful goals while Selcuk Inan is not far from that level. However, of course it is important to create also chances while playing the ball as those chances are not always available especially during crucial moments of the game. It does need to improve its ability to create chances as this does seem to be problematic aspect of a team.
Relying too much into set pieces would just mean that team needs lots of luck while it is important to create chances themselves at the games.
