Turkey needs to bring fighting spirit and strong attitute in game against Spain.
Turkish National Team has shown pretty poor performance at the 1st game of the Euro2016 against Croatia and for now its just needs to take lessons from that game and provide much better performance at the game against Spain.
Unfortunately, from the all of the games played so far at the Euro2016 only team which has performed below its capacity. Their were teams at the tournament which played worser football but their shown its best football. Teams like Ukraine, Albania ,Russia,Ireland and Iceland were providing its best football at this tournament showing that it wont be team which could be easy to lose even if its among weakest teams. Therefore, Turkey needs at first to take all its focus for last two games at the group for at least some signs of fighting spirit especially at the upcoming game against Spain. If this will not be done, the task against Spain would be harder and would also provide easy win for them.
Turkey needs to bring back that attitute and performance which allowed them to get to Euro2016 and was seen as among teams which could provide big surprises. Surely after one game it didnt provide dissapointment to Turkish fans but also football fans around Europe.
Key against Spain is strong defence by Turkey.
Spanish national team as been mentioned at the blog yesterday is not at the best form as was seen at the game against Czech Republic. Even through its organisation are still at top level it lacks that quality with players which was visible in tournaments prior to World Cup 2014.
In fact, the main downside has started from that World Cup and Turkey needs to be focussed into the game and not be scared of the Spain as this would be only done damage to the team. It should provide respect, which Spain obviously deserves to achieve, but needs to come at the field at the set mind it can get that game. Key issue as been mentioned is the defence, if Spanish national team doesnt get enough free space at the attack it will have trouble to create chance, one of the factors which looks to be lacking at Spain compare to Germany and France. Strong defence is shortly is key.
Therefore, when going to attacks at the game on 17th June it should not go with all players as there must be defence ready in case of sudden counter attack from Spanish players.
West Ham United coach Slaven Bilic interest towards his old players carries on.
West Ham United head coach Slaven Bilic still shows strong interest towards Besiktas player Gokhan Tore, Atiba Hutchinson and some other names with stating his strong interest stating to the media several times.
Slaven Bilic has offered 18 million euro for those players and also Jose Sosa according to rumours going around Turkish media but Besiktas has provided counter offer with 33 million euro. It is known that players Gokhan Tore wants to move to England while Atiba Hutchinson case is more uncertain. Besiktas administrators quite rightly showing an attitute trying to keep its key players at the squad or as 2nd plan selling them with making lots of money, preferably to find even better alternatives with such a cash. This interest from Bilic towards his ex-players seems to be carrying on and it is interesting how both bodies would act in upcoming days.
This transfer story so far is among most talked around sports media and surely would recieve much more twists and turns and is interested how it would turn on both by Turkish and British media.
