What happened in Turkish football today? 08/06/2022

Turkey continued dominance with this time beating Lithuania.

Turkish National Team continues its dominant performance at the Nations League League C 1st Group performance as it should with beating Lithuania with 6:0 scoreline at artificial field.

One of the main issues which did make Faroe Islands 1st half difficult for Turkey has been not finding an early goal, and it did solve this issue with finding 2 early goals from Dogukan Sinik who did play his first game at national team and found 1st goal within 2 minutes. After that, and even through it did let some positions to Lithuania, with only one being close to goal, it did control goal with also finding goals during 2nd half. Turkish National Team head coach Stefan Kuntz and players been stated that aim in this mini-tournament is to score as much as they can without conceding and with 10:0 record after 2 games it just achieving that.

Turkey needed to prove with performance that League C is not place where they belong and they doing just that in confident manner.

Giresunspor has extended contract with Hakan Karaahmet.

Giresunspor CEO Hakan Karaahmet who has brought sight to Super League one season before and managed to keep them at top division in just ended season, has been reelected rightly by club members with 134 votes out of 134.

It needs to be stated that when looking in overall it needs to be admitted that Hakan Karaahmet is managing club pretty good and apart of some poor outcomes in start of previous season, it actually showed very good performance which does prove side is being rightly managed and could even improve during upcoming season. Therefore, such a trust towards Karaahmet as this election in all fairness has been more like vote of confidence, has shown just that. Still, team needs to make some more transfers to aim for higher spots on upcoming season.

Hakan Karaahmet is running Giresunspor in good manner and rightfully has been elected with 100% result.

Ankaragucu extends contract with Sinan Osmanoglu for 1-year

Ankaragucu has extended contract with its player Sinan Osmanoglu for 1-year as it being one of the most active clubs this summer so far even before transfer window has been opened officially.

Sinan Osmanoglu as player did show some very good peerformance in last season with playing an important role for side to be promoted in the end of the season. With side currently going through its squad focussing ot keep good players and sell ones to open space and cash for transfer window, is showing an important message to Osmanoglu that he is in level of Super League. But he would provide bestrong effort both to be selected in starting 11 and show his worth during game.

Ankaragucu does look to be one of the active side at transfer front during this season and we would follow in our accounts they actions.
