Kayserispor has ended contract with Hikmet Karaman.
Kayserispor has ended contract with its head coach Hikmet Karaman despite of showing strong performance at Turkish Cup where side has got into final game and lost to Sivasspor.
Despite of memorable performance at the Turkish Cup it needs to be mentioned that Kayserispor did have pretty poor season and has spend most time of the season around relegation zone, so it could be seen as expected for his contract to be relegated. However, in other note he did show some good results towards end of the season and should let him to build side for upcoming season as he is being coach which could be fighting for at least mid-spots in the table, which is in all honest is being an aim for club. Even through Kayserispor decision has been unexpected, it was in same logical when looking to league.
Right now it is reported that club is interested to appoint Volkan Demirel and Omer Erdogan in his spot.
Konyaspor signs Cebrayil Karayel for 2-years.
Konyaspor which has been one of the most active side after end of the season at the transfer front, has signed Altay player Cebrayil Karayel for 2-years.
Even through Altay has been relegated, it needs to be noted that Karayel performance did stand out and has been one of the key players in his club on previous seasons. Therefore, such transfer would have positive impact to the side and lead to some positive help for the side. Therefore, Karayel has all potential to help side to reach its aims in upcoming season both domestically and in Europe if it manages to get through qualifying rounds.
Without doubt, Konyaspor aim to have better season in upcoming season than this one is being seen with transfer moves and side expects to continue to do so during this summer.
Jorge Jesus arrived to Istanbul.
Jorge Jesus has arrived to Istanbul where he is having one-on-one negotiations even through it is expected that deal would be signed at short notice.
In fact, Jorge Jesus behaviour in Istanbul so far with visiting to club facilities and meeting with Ali Koc makes it clear that deal is made and there is no issue of contract to be signed, as some small issues in the contract is still need to be solved possibly between bodies. It has observed so far that Jorge Jesus is showing strong willingness to be successful in the club and that would be an important advantage, but it needs to be noted that similar was seen by Mesut Ozil when he joined Fenerbahce.
Therefore, it would be hopeful that similar wont be case when Jorge Jesus would start in upcoming season.
