What happened in Turkish football today? 29/04/2022

Fenerbahce continues its winning streak beating Gaziantep this time.

Fenerbahce continues winning games back-to-back as this time it has won against Gaziantep with 3:2 scoreline and continues its fight for 2nd spot with 3 weeks games to be played and also didnt let Trabzonspor to celebrate its title on day before they game.

Fenerbahce it needs to be started with high tempo with looking into attacking game and did found an early goal thanks to the goal of Diego Rossi who did show great run into the game and after that goal did continue showing high tempo game but as game progressed Gaziantep did get back into game and balanced on the field. Therefore, it could be stated that despite of good start of the game, Fenerbahce didnt show as good game as it did during last week mainly due of Gaziantep showing much more organised game. However, it needs to be noted that Fenerbahce did play with focus to win game and showed that performance for most amount of the game with stating in the game. Only issue where Fenerbahce did have some issues has been between 2:1 and 3:1 where it did have issue to get an upper hand until Zajc has scored on 82nd minute. However, it needs to be mentioned that Fenerbahce did look into organised and provided strong game.

Gaziantep on they part despite of poor start of the game did manage to show good organised game and could even drawn game if it didnt concede on 82nd minute. Gaziantep right now still could be relegated mathematically, but very likely would stay in the league in the end of the week as Rizespor and Altay would need to win.

Fenerbahce did get another win and would now focus to finish season with 3 out of 3 and finish league in the 2nd spot.

Trabzonspor would come out with aim to get its first title since 1984.

Trabzonspor would be coming to the game against Antalyaspor only needing to get 1 point to get first title since 1984, but their opponents are having strong run without losing for 10 games.

However, even if Antalyaspor is being in the great form, Trabzonspor does come out with many factors which could lead for them what they are seeking for as 2 outcomes out of 3 would be enough for them, strong supporters support who would come to the game after which they aim to celebrate title, players willingness to end the task on the day. In addition, Antalyaspor even through does have chances for top 4, getting draw from this game will be seen as bad result for them. When looking all of this perspectives, mainly emotional and psychological does put Trabzonspor. Only issue which could provide some problems to Trabzonspor and which been seen in recent weeks is calmness that even if they lose they still be main candidate for title and this could go in hand for Antalyaspor.

Trabzonspor would come out with an aim at least not to lose, but would Antalyaspor allow them to get such aim would become clear.

Burak Elmas would announce Galatasaray CEO election date next week.

Galatasaray CEO election has been going through high number of twists and turns during this month, and the final decision means that election scheduled on 30th April would be cancelled.

Galatasaray CEO Burak Elmas during today's press conference, has renewed his statement that he would not run as CEO candidate for election which would be taking on another date. He also adds that decision when election would be taking place will be made next week. With such decision he has kept his word after his period wasnt expected by club members,of having CEO election in whatever circumstances. With CEO candidates asking for earliest date for CEO election to be on 30th May, it would be expected for that to be date as Burak Elmas would go through with other members of his administration when it would be best day to have election.

One thing is certain, club's storyline of CEO election would be continued for another month with some other developments could be taking place.
