What happened in Turkish football today? 28/04/2022

Fenerbahce expects to show attacking game against Gaziantep.

Fenerbahce would be continuing its aim to end season at the 2nd spot as it would be meeting with struggling Gaziantep at recent weeks in the game which result would be also awaited from Trabzonspor too.

Fenerbahce are being right now in very good form without losing last 10 games in the league and is expected to continue this run against with Gaziantep as it focussed towards ending this season at the 2nd spot. Gaziantep on they part are showing poor results in recent weeks and also doesnt provide any signs that it would show any improvement within 4 weeks left at the season. Fenerbahce is expected to show once again strong attacking game which it provides in recent weeks and hence provide pressure to Gaziantep goal. Meanwhile, Trabzonspor would be also awaiting for the outcome of this game as any loss of points from Fenerbahce would mean it would get title even before against Antalyaspor.

Fenerbahce are being favourites in the game and are expected to performance according to that.

Besiktas will have CEO election on 29th May

Besiktas has announced that it would have CEO election on 22nd May, and if majority is not gathered electiond date would be moved to 29th May.

It is expected that Besiktas current CEO Ahmet Nur Cebi would be running as single candidate, even through there are some criticism towards him from some supporters due of poor performance during this season. There could ebexpectations that some CEO candidates might coming out but it is hard to see if any is capable to provide any competition towards him in this current situation. Still, it would be interesting to see how this would be developing at the club upcoming developments.

Besiktas would be going through CEO election period and we would follow developments.

Firat Deviroglu has once again send request to cancel Galatasaray CEO election.

Galatasaray administrator Firat Deviroglu seems not to be giving up his aim to cancel CEO election of the club as he sends other request to court to cancel election on 30th April.

Firat Deviroglu seems to be detirmined as he believes that not accepting Burak Elmas administration team is not being done right and also would damage Galatasaray as club if such practice would be done in upcoming CEO after short period of some unsuccessful decisions which been done in the club. With CEO election expecting to be taking place on weekend there is being short period for decison to be made and is unlikely that it would be on his side final decision.

Galatasaray continues in administrative matter going through interesting period and it would be interesting to see what would be final decision by court.
