Fenerbahce is getting closer for 2nd spot with win against Goztepe.
Fenerbahce has won once again against struggling and almost relegated Goztepe at home ground with 2:0 scoreline at the game where both sides did provide respectful fighting game but team which seeks for 2nd spot did get win.
It needs to be stated that Fenerbahce has started game with confident attacking game with looking into opportunities with looking into an early goal which without doubt is being rightful tactic against side which needs to win game urgently to have any possibilities to stay in the league. To some extend, after scoring goal Fenerbahce did have some relaxation even through its been cautious one, while Goztepe has gave their best to find an equaliser and this has continued for 2nd half. Even if Fenerbahce did reduce its tempo game it still looked like side which knew what it was doing and has shown confident game with side looking that it was aware that it would get result. It is been specifically present to see for Arda Guler to score his first goal on his home ground from well-taken penalty kick. With Trabzonspor losing points in recent weeks, some Fenerbahce supporters might even hope for title but it still being for them to get 2nd spot and if their continue like this they would get it.
Goztepe which could be mathematically be relegated if Giresunspor manages to get win against Besiktas, did provide confident strong performance which once again did let for side to question why it didnt show such performance for whole season.
Fenerbahce did get crucial win with providing confident game but did show some relaxation but still did deserved win against Goztepe.
Trabzonspor are being at unnecesarily pressure right now.
Trabzonspor continues losing points at the league as it didnt win for last 4 games, this time drawing to Fatih Karagumruk with 1:1 scoreline as side seems to be showing sign of pressure despite of 13 point difference at the top of the league with 5 games left in the season.
It needs to be mentioned that Trabzonspor especially has showed passive game during 1st half without getting into too much opportunities and not being able to get through strong defensive game of opponent which has started at midfielding section. In addition, it has conceded beautiful free kick which did show that Trabzonspor needed to change its level of performance and attitude for 2nd half which it did . Therefore, Trabzonspor has started providing much more strong pressure towards Fatih Karagumruk goal which led for opponents to provide organised strong defence but it needs to be mentioned that Trabzonspor didnt use its opportunities very well. It was observed that Trabzonspor got into unnecessarily pressure which it needs to go through if it wants to win title at short period of time.
Trabzonspor needs to get 4 points but it needs to improve its performance if it wants to win this title at early notice.
Besiktas will aim to continue its in-form performance but it is being tough game for them.
Besiktas would be aiming to continue strong performance which it shows with Valerien Ismael against Giresunspor while they opponent would be aiming to get at least point to secure their stay in the top division for next season.
Even through both sides are being at the different halves of the table, it would be very tough game for Besiktas as side would be coming with motivation to secure their spot and also self-confidence as it got confident win against their opponents during 1st half which also played important role for Sergen Yalcin leaving his position in the team. However, Besiktas is being currently in good form as it aims to end season at the 4th spot and get at least Conference League spot in the table. It would be expected for Besiktas to provide strong and attacking game with looking high opportunities.
This could be pretty competitive but recent form does put Besiktas into favourite but it would be tough one.
