Gaziantep CEO Mehmet Buyukeksi who managed to make his side very competitive during his 2-year reign has announced that CEO election would be taking place on 25th May and he would not run during this election.

Without doubt, Mehmet Buyukeksi during his 2 year period as club CEO which is being same period Gaziantep has been at top league did made one of the most impressive performance made side which aims for top half of the standings and making side which is showing positive attacking game and tough side to beat as big clubs would know as their did lose points or won them with having difficult moment. Therefore, this decision by Buyukeksi who without doubt did play huge role for such great result not to be running for CEO election could be seen as surprise. Still, it is very likely that we are going through difficult period due of Covid19 which does provide lots of pressure for football clubs and this tiredness did lead him for such decision among letting new names to push side forward. Sivasspor has provided great performance in recent years as it been contending for title during previous reason with losing chances only at the end of the season and despite of poor start its currently having an impressive 15 undefeated period. Without doubt one of the main players who did lead for such outcomes has been Max Gradel performance with both scoring and providing assists which did gather some interests both from Turkish clubs and outside Europe which could be described why extension offer is coming year before his contract will be over. Without doubt, this extension would keep Sivasspor at competitive level.
