Besiktas become champions of most difficult season.
Besiktas has won title of Super League 2020-21 season which would be going into history as most difficult in Turkey with 21 clubs and in total of 42 weeks with high number of games played into midweek with few days rest.
Besiktas did get title with 1 goal as it has ended this season at same points with Galatasaray and it needs to be noted that it did feel under pressure during game against Goztepe especially after 1:1 scoreline but its been pretty important for title goal coming from Racchid Ghezzal from penalty kick, as Ghezzal without doubt did play huge role for this title with 17 assists and some goals being one of the key names at the team during this season. It needs to be noted that season has been pretty tough one for Besiktas as it did have pretty poor start of the season but did improve as it did develop and even through did put some difficult towards end losing prior to final games 2 games including against Galatasaray managed to stay focussed and got deserved title in Izmir.
With looking how this season was developing and also excitement in the end, Besiktas title would be remembered for long time by football fans.
Galatasaray once again had strong end of season but it wasnt enough.
Galatasaray which been seen as outsider for title among title condenders only 2-3 weeks ago actually been at the top with around 20 minutes of the game until Ghezzal scored in other game, and lost title with only 2 goals short.
It is true that Galatasaray did lose opportunity to get upper hand at the goal difference as it could scored more goals against Denizlispor during last season as Yeni Malatyaspor would be tough game for finding 4-5 goals, but still end which it did show from getting into title race right into it when it looked like opportunities are low deserve high praise. Galatasaray head coach Fatih Terim, whose future is unclear in the club, did once again provided strong motivation and let players to provide fighting spirit with giving all its best which does show his strong understanding of side even through when looking overall there is high number of wrong decision which could be found from him. Still, Galatasaray players could say that their did their best to win this title until last moment.
Galatasaray which only seen also outsider for Champions League spot did get qualifier spot which could be seen bit of success with circumstances.
Fenerbahce did lose top 2 spot last week.
If Galatasaray tend to get right results when it matters most, Fenerbahce is quite outside as it loss to Sivasspor last week did cost them title but it did make other mistakes right now.
Even through Fenerbahce did win game with 2 goals in the end of the game against Kayserispor which known that moment it would stay at the league, it still didnt provide fighting spirit and belief even end of the 1st half where results from other two games did provide some signs of hope for them. Fenerbahce which did have good transfer windows has been seen for long time as main title contender but it didnt show that on field and without doubt didnt let it use its squad with its maximum, Erol Belozoglu did provide some good signs to solve this issue but against Sivasspor those old issues has become clear once again. Fenerbahce does have administrative issues and team issues which it needs to solve in summer.
Fenerbahce CEO Ali Koc did have his best season since becoming CEO but still its been dissapointing one for them without doubt.

- Sivasspor: We are wishing for Turkish Cup final between Besiktas and Antalyaspor to be played in fairplay manner with side which deserves to win it.We understand reaction from Antalyaspor when we celebrated Besiktas, but football is competitive sport.
