Galatasaray provided right performance at the game which it needed to win.
With beating Besiktas during derby game, Galatasaray has reduced point difference against leaders to 3 points with equalising head-to-head and would be entering to last 2 weeks with high hopes for title even through it would be waiting for loss of points from Fenerbahce too.
Galatasaray did come to the game with being one which needed to win to keep its title hopes alive and also 2nd spot for Champions League while their opponents did have 1 game in hand, and without doubt this factor did affect to whole game. Side which needed to win did show with its performance with providing one of the best,possibly even best performance during whole season providing great balance both with defence and attacking game without doubt. It could be noted that game did been played in between during 1st half, but during 2nd half Galatasaray been side which did dominated game with looking into opportunities even winning and not letting Besiktas to show any opportunities. As been noted, chances for Galatasaray for title are being related from external issues but it get right motivation and would be expected to get confident win against relegated Denizlispor during next week to reduce point difference in case of both sides ending with same points.
Galatasaray needed to win this game and it achieved that with showing strong attacking game with Fatih Terim preparing this side strongly without doubt.
Besiktas would feel pressure for title in last 2 games.
Besiktas which is still being 4 points behind of winning title, has provided one of its worst performance during whole season which could be due of providing relaxation of having this game in hand but now has found with some pressure.
Besiktas didnt provide very good performance with failing to get upper hand of whole season which could be due of having game in hand for title and also strong self-confidence which it did get from 7:0 win against Hatayspor. In fact, among Hatayspor, it had longest period as it had 1 week break while other sides had 1-2 days early but it did look to be most tired with how it performed. Taking account that it did meet with Galatasaray which on other hand did show one of its best performance during whole season, it did have without doubt negative impact in this final outcome. Now, Besiktas would be meeting with Fatih Karagumruk which did win Genclerbirligi with 5:1 scoreline which means it would be in better condition. 2 days is not long period for Besiktas to get over this trauma and it would feel some pressure.
Besiktas only recently were confidently going for title but it did create pressure to themselves now it would be seen how their would act.
Enner Valencia rises chances for title for Fenerbahce.
Fenerbahce goal on last minute by Enner Valencia and win from Galatasaray could be seen one of its key events if Fenerbahce would get title this season with showing strong fighting spirit.
It needs to be noted that Fenerbahce did have pretty start of the game which it did continue for some time when Galatasaray got lead at derby which without doubt would be seen as unexpected surprising behaviour. This mainly due of some wrong formation from Emre Belozoglu but which he did realise straight away and solved with Mert Hakan Yandas and Gokhan Gonul which without doubt did play crucial role for this win. Fenerbahce looked more to be side which is fighting for title with providing strong attacking game with dominating but couldnt find that winning goal until last minute which did come from Irfan Can Kahveci assist to Enner Valencia who controlled that opportunity. Right now Fenerbahce would be waiting for Besiktas to lose points with showing its highly focus for title. This last minute goal wasnt best scenario it seeked for, but would affect side domination and fighting spirit for last 2 games of the season.
Fenerbahce provided strong fight for win during 2nd half and would likely continue to provide pressure to Besiktas until end of the season.
