What happened in Turkish football today? 14/05/2021

Besiktas will be able to focus entirely for win as it is being last game of season.

End of such exciting season of Super League would be having with even excitement on last day of the season as Besiktas and Galatasaray would be entering with same points while Fenerbahce would be hoping to write history if it wins title.

Besiktas even through did lose last 2 games and hence did lose 6 points advantage over Galatasaray, still has +2 average over Galatasaray and also upper scored goals which means that even winning with minumum scoreline it would get important advantage as opponent would need to win then with 4:0 scoreline. However, question is would Besiktas which is being into decline and does have some absences due of injury will be able to win this game. It is true that side did lose self-belief and momentum but with this being last game and no 2nd chances it is very likely side would only focus mentally for win and it would be playing against Goztepe which doesnt have much opportunities. As long as side focussed into winning providing game which it showed against Hatayspor it should be getting this title.

Besiktas did lose momentum but being 90 minutes away from title, it would be providing focussed game to get win and hence title.

Galatasaray would be providing attacking game.

Among title contenders without doubt, Galatasaray being at best momentum and motivation with beating Besiktas and Denizlispor and equalising point difference with opponent, head-to-head with Besiktas but being 3 goals behind at goal difference.

Without doubt with needing high number of goals it would be expected for Galatasaray to find early goals both to get closer into its aim and also providing pressure to Besiktas which without doubt would be following how this game is unfolding. Galatasaray as Besiktas would playing Yeni Malatyaspor which is coming out to formality game from their part and hence this would have direct impact into how it would be performing even through Yeni Malatyaspor would not be obviously want to lose with goal difference different aims and motivation of both clubs would play direct role. Without doubt Galatasaray would providing attacking game or as Terim stated some time ago "no tactic, boom boom boom" as it needs to find goals.

Hence, this game would be interesting to see games as Galatasaray will dominate and would Yeni Malatyaspor show some resistance.

Fenerbahce needs to win and see how other games develop.

Fenerbahce will be hoping for big surprise to happen on clubs above them in last week with also winning its game against Kayserispor to get either title or Champions League spot.

What makes task for Fenerbahce among low possibility for Besiktas and Galatasaray to lose they game is that it would be playing against side which, according how Genclerbirligi and Trabzonspor, will be developing to get possibly 1 point and hence would be providing strong game. Fenerbahce is most unmotivated sides among title hopes and this could also affect negatively especially if title contenders would find goals early on. Best tactics for Fenerbahce without doubt would be to focus entirely with forgetting other games as them losing points would not affect how other sides end game and then see how day ends.

Fenerbahce would be hoping for some unexpected historical developments to happen but foremostly their need to focus into win.
