Alanyaspor did get crucial goal while playing with 10 men.
Alanyaspor has got very important advantage at Turkish Cup semi-final tie with an away goal scored by Junior Fernandes on last minutes of the game against Antalyaspor especially taking account that it was playing with 10 men.
Despite of getting such important result with such circumstances during the game, it is hard to note that Alanyaspor did provide very good performance as been noted with team head coach Erol Bulut following the game, but compare to their opponents their did stay focussed into their task for this game. Its been game which been highly focussed into high level control especially in defence which could be explained due of this being 2-leg game, and hence did lead for low amount of chances. Looking from Alanyaspor perspective this could be seen from poor results which team did get from previous games and also playing away game it did provide more or less too much control of the game at the game where both sides didnt want to lose for sure. Still, Alanyaspor should be praised for providing strong organised game and find goal with having less player in hand.
With chances of league title getting less for Alanyaspor it would be seen quite natural for them to provide such high focus towards game and would look for 2nd leg in positive note.
Antalyaspor didnt provide strong effective performance against Alanyaspor.
Antalyaspor on other hand, did come out with good recent form despite of being at bottom section in league and with Alanyaspor not showing very creative game and having extra men on field could provide more pressure to opponent.
But interestingly, Antalyaspor also playing at home did decide to play also highly controllable game and even through its defensive section apart of conceding goal could be praised, on attacking front it looked to be uncreative even when it raised attacking chances after red card of opponent. It needs to be noted that some things more or less did go into advantage to them but their didnt provide any role with getting needed result with their performance and hence needs to go through strong analysis of this game and realise which it needs to improve on for rest of the season, including for 2nd leg which would be taking next month as it is clear that team right now is not in level to get into final, even through this scoreline could be turned around. It could be noted that Antalyaspor did aim to focus into providing tactic of not losing game which is not strong reasonable when playing at home and this did lead them to lose advantage at home ground.
Therefore, Antalyaspor were not really effective and creative during this game and does need to improve its performance for 2nd leg for sure.
Besiktas would come to game which will would have direct impact for rest of the season.
With being 9 points behind current leaders of league Basaksehirspor, and 8 points behind
Trabzonspor who have game in hand with taking account that only 10 games left until end of the season, Besiktas cant afford to lose those games including against Ankaragucu.
Even through it could be noted, quite naturally, that Besiktas is not yet playing is not playing football which everyone would seek for it does show improvement by each game and getting into road to show that level of performance. It does need to be noted however that even through Ankaragucu is around relegation zone, does make Besiktas favourite but would be expected to be tough game as bottom sides as would been expected raise their level of performance as we enter to this stages in the league. With taking account that Besiktas would also play with Galatasaray after this week would provide additional motivation as outcome of this game could have direct impact to rest of the season. This certainly would be strong push for Besiktas in this game.
Besiktas hence would be coming to game as favourites but Ankaragucu will not be expected to provide them easy time during this crucial game for this sides.
