What happened in Turkish football today? 26/03/2020

Terim and Albayrak are feeling well right now in hospitals.

Both Galatasaray head coach Fatih Terim and administrator Abdurrahim Albayrak has provided present news to everyone who are worried about their Covid-19 recovery process stating that their feeling well and dont have any complications.

As it is known, not everyone who is been infected by Covid19 and being above 65 years would specifically go through this process in difficult way and it is present to see that both personalities are showing some positive developments in this period and are not strongly affected from this developments which are taking place right now and be in good mood in their hospital. It would be especially be hoped and present to hear that all of the infected would be going through fast recovery without having any issues. Meanwhile, it needs to be noted that with both of them getting positive result from test did raise more awareness of this virus both in football world and generally in Turkey for sure.

Therefore, it is important to note once again that we going through difficult period due this virus and its important to stay home and be positive in such tough times.

Adem Buyuk has been 1st player to donate for fight against Covid19

First football personality in Turkey which has provided some donation has been Galatasaray player Adem Buyuk who has donated 100,000 masks, 15,000 tests and 3,000 protective suits.
It has been reported during last period of weeks that high number of players being in top league did provide some donations, but its not been known at least publicly any donations which been done in Turkey, with unsurprisingly Galatasaray player Adem Buyuk. We state unsurprisingly because Galatasaray has been first club to open this discussion about Covid19 threat it can have towards Turkish football without doubt. It needs to be noted that this donation is been done in very generous manner and for sure would provide huge help and assists to medicall staff members for sure and will play part of how virus would be treated in country.

It would be expected and awaited for more of this generous action to be done in upcoming period from football community in country for sure.

Foreign players understandable want to travel home.

Question about foreign players requesting to leave Turkey to home country for various reason which could be understood from players view but due of uncertainty of when league will start and due of quarentine aspects it would be crucial start of season.

Besiktas players are been mostly reported to be wanting to leave, even through club did mention several times that there were not any requests even through those reports could be done due of preventing to show that club is not in serious problem right now. Clubs are reluctant to send their players away as been noted beforehand due of aspect that player would return he would need to go through 14-day quarentine which would affect him starting season on time in good form. Here comes TFF which even through as everyone else can state when things would go to normality make it clear what are their all plans for to complete season and also do their have specific plan if season will not be completed.

Foreign players  and administrators  are understandably feeling unease with being in Turkey and hence some plan needs to be made if player would leave country.
