Fenerbahce has provided surprisingly poor game against Kayserispor.
It was heavily expected that Fenerbahce would be getting leadership at the league as it was playing against last placed Kayserispor who came out without win this season but it managed to dominate and raise tempo as opponent showed good organised and Umut Bulut used his opportunity to score very important goal.
Without doubt Fenerbahce did come out with high motivation with possibility at creating chances as game has been progressed and in fact it was Kayserispor was controlling tempo which was very slow which without doubt went into hand. It needs to be stated that in all fairness Fenerbahce did create some dangerous chance as game was progressing but as been mentioned it didnt manage to raise tempo. One of the reasons could be from pressure Fenerbahce for getting leadership spot during this week, but team like them with focussed to have league title should not use this as excuse. It is crucial therefore for Fenerbahce to figure out what went wrong from team and why it didnt provide strong focus towards this game ant not being entirely effective in the attack. Fenerbahce still needs to see this game as unlucky day and need to keep focussed for getting result especially at league anything can happen.
Kayserispor on their hand did provide highly focussed game and even through did look like side which still has some issues with organised game but it shown good reaction to Fenerbahce managing to prevent to control game and find crucial game.
During recent games, Fenerbahce did provide worst performance but it needs to forget about this game and look for upcoming games.
Trabzonspor carries on making mistakes at defence.
Trabzonspor has got unexpected loss to Goztepe during Super League 10th week game with 1:0 scoreline as this time it could pass opponent goalkeeper Beto even through it has provided high number of dangerous attacks especially during 2nd half.
With looking at the form of both clubs and also aims it needs to be noted that Trabzonspor did come out as favourite and apart of start of the game, it did look to be better side but without doubt conceding goals at each game did come as bad outcome as it wasnt able to convert their chances. Taking account that it was playing against side which has one of the experienced goalkeepers at this league, it would been expected that club would focus more into defensive game. In all fairness, Goztepe didnt actually provide high amount of the chances during game but Jerome goal on 1st half did come from defence mistakes. Other factor, wasnt scoring goal which mainly been factor of absence of Daniel Sturridge as he did provide great understanding with Sorloth during games. Now team would be meeting with Krasnodar and it is clear that if it wants to get some result it would need to improve its defensive game.
Despite of Trabzonspor being at the top half of the table fighting for league title it does have some serious defence issues which it needs to solve if it wants to get this title.
Besiktas has shown two different halves against Trabzonspor.
Besiktas has provided performance of two different halves during Super League 10th week game as it has managed to win against Antalyaspor with 2:1 scoreline even through it has almost drawn game thanks to last minute Loris Karius goal on last minute.
It needs to be noted that Besiktas has provided great start of the game making it clear that their want to win game and has found 2 goals back to back until 11th minute but unless being more confident and controlling pace of game to its advantage game has went into control of Antalyaspor, especially during 2nd half where team has found high amount of the chances. In fact, this game been seen by two different halves where Besiktas has shown good game in 1st half while Antalyaspor has been very poor. While during 2nd half its been totally different half as Antalyaspor has dominated game while Lorius Karius did some very important saves, saving 3 points. It has been very important 3 points for Besiktas and would keep team motivated as it got 2 wins back to back and suddenly found itself at title race but Avci needs to go through this game and identify what went wrong during game and not repeated against Braga.
Besiktas still needs to find ways to show effective game for 90 minutes but this win has been very important for them for sure.
