Galatasaray has shown great response following Real Madrid loss.
It was important for Galatasaray to show some strong reaction following 6:0 loss to Real Madrid during Champions League during Super League 11th week game against Gaziantep and it just did that with showing great performance with 2:0 scoreline.
One of the main aspect which was expected from Galatasaray in sense of reaction is to provide much more fighting spirit during game and disciplined performance, and when coming especially to providing discipline performance it has managed to do so especially by players whose future starting 11 position could be at risk and it does look like those players did get right message. Even through opponent didnt come with strong squad it needs to be noted that Galatasaray did provide forward focussed performance during game with looking into chances as much as it can and could even scored more than 2 goals as game has developed. One of the dissapointing aspects which Galatasaray will find itself was for Florin Andone to get injured and with also Falcao condition being unclear it would be unwanted development even through it would be glad that it enters to national team break with opportunity for players to recover from injuries. Still, even through issues with Galatasaray are not being over from one game, this outcome would make team happy and reduce pressure which team is going through right now.
Gaziantep didnt come with its best squad and didnt have attackers in its disposal which for sure did provide direct impact for this outcome and did have difficulty to provide good opposition to Galatasaray.
As been mentioned Galatasaray didnt get rid of its issues with 1 game but at least it regained some morale with this game and win.
Fenerbahce has got important tough win against Kasimpasa
Fenerbahce even through didnt provide its best game during Super League 11th week against Kasimpasa, still got an important win with right focus from players but it needs to be noted that their opponents especially when had one less player did provide some issues to side.
It needs to be noted that Fenerbahce did start game at very fast tempo looking for chances from start of the game and has provided big pressure to their opponents which led for penalty position. With Vedat Muriqi finding goal on 6th minute, it was once again observed as it was done several times during this season that side has reduced its tempo as game has developed. Therefore, whenever Fenerbahce has scored goal rather than adding tempo of the game as it did against Konyaspor, quite opposite did provide much more controllable game. This performance of Fenerbahce likely provided some self-belief to Kasimpasa as it did raise tempo and suprisingly did provide pretty good performance when game has been played 10-on-11. Still, Fenerbahce did get an important win especially when Serdar Aziz has scored after 4 minutes of 2:2 and did get important win against opponent which gave great performance against them.
Fenerbahce did get important win and gained motivation for national team break but it does need to improve its performance level.
Trabzonspor needs to forget about Europa League.
Without doubt one of the most important games during this week would be between league leaders prior to start of the week Alanyaspor and Trabzonspor which would need to win if it wants to stay at leadership race.
With this season having low average points for most teams and Alanyaspor ending last week with 19 points which is being lowest point for leaders since 94/95 season, their would be aiming to come out to game with strong aim to gain back leadership and enter to national team break with that morale and confidence. Trabzonspor on other side did provide poor performance at Europa League where it has been relegated and would come out to game with low morale and tiredness, which could provide some issues even through in Russia side did go to rotation. For Trabzonspor to provide good performance in such crucial game it would be important for them to forget about Europa League and focus to Alanyaspor game as result of this game could provide many factors for rest of the season for sure. Trabzonspor as side are stronger but it needs to be remembered that Alanyaspor would be more confident to this game.
Trabzonspor as been mentioned needs to focus on this game entirely if it wants to get positive result.
