What happened in Turkish football today? 08/06/2018

Basaksehirspor has transferred Soner Aydogdu for 3 years.

Basaksehirspor has transferred Akhisarspor player Soner Aydogdu for 3 years with making its 1st transfer during this summer transfer window and has managed to strengthen their squad for next season as it aims to continue its top level performance and possibly fight for league title.

Soner Aydogdu has been among leading players at the team during past season which has won Turkish Cup even through it didnt have great season at the Super League. However, with moving to Basaksehirspor has become team aiming for league title he has raised into level with his performance and would certainly to improve his performance at his new club but he has all chances to raise into this level. Meanwhile, this has been also great move for Basaksehirspor as it managed to fill the gap which was left from ending contract with Irfan Can Kahveci and likely to strengthen its squad as team keep raising its level of performance but as been mentioned Aydogdu needs to improve his performance level to become successful for Basaksehirspor as it has much higher aims compare to Akhisarspor.

Still as been mentioned this has been very good transfer for Basaksehirspor for next season and even more for upcoming future.

Kayserispor has made transfer deal with Eskisehirspor player Hasan Huseyin

Kayserispor has made transfer deal with Eskisehirspor player Hasan Huseyin as the team aims to become much stronger aims for next season as it started its transfer window as it expects to be among most active teams at the transfer front.

With transfer window openning on 9th June, Kayserispor has made its 1st transfer window with Hasan Huseyin as team has also changed its head coach and aims to provide a team which would be aiming to improve its performance as it did during this season. It does look like this transfer would not biggest for a team but it would be able to provide fresh blood with a player who would be aiming to prove himself to the league and fighting spirit which could also be advantage for Kayserispor themselves as it would need players who would give their best performance for team. However, as been stated Kayserispor would need to make even much transfers and hence would push team forward.

As been stated, Kayserispor does aim to improve its performance into next level with improving last season after having successful one and this time would be aiming for Europa League spot.

Galatasaray player Bafetembi Gomis has asked for his salary to be raised.

Galatasaray player Bafetembi Gomis quite naturally after successful season during last season has requested raise from his salary to 3,250,000 euro which does raise some issues to team administration as it needs to be economical due of FFP regulations.

With such reaction from Gomis this could lead for player to leave team as after successful season at Galatasaray, there were number of clubs who are also showing strong interests towards Gomis. This development does put Galatasaray into very difficult position as Gomis is being one of the players which team doesnt want to sell but it needs to keep its position into economical and hence either Galatasaray needs to convince him to accept low salary and have risk to lose him this summer. Once again however, this being only rumour and it is unclear how much it is true and hence time would show about future of Gomis for upcoming season.

Galatasaray is expected to solve those issue with finding middle point and club would have talks with him in upcoming days.
