What happened in Turkish football today? 07/06/2018
Fenerbahce has appointed Damien Comolli for 3 years as club's sports director.
Fenerbahce has appointed world-famous sports director Damiel Comolli for 3 years and with such an appointment without doubt would help side to get better side for next season, as Fenerbahce newly elected CEO Ali Koc aims to create very strong and competitive side.
Ali Koc prior to CEO election, during election weekend and after has promised to provide strong competitive side and without doubt appointment of Damien Comolli would be 1st step to get into this stage. Damien Comolli has made his name during football world at being able to transfer some players with low price and transfer at least double price to other clubs. Also having good connection with various European clubs would be able to get contact and deals from top clubs. It is clear at least that even through current squad is pretty strong one with Damien Comolli coming to the club he would be able to make good deals with would make team much better attacking game which is biggest demand from club's supporters and also expectation from Ali Koc. One thing is certain that Fenerbahce would be getting into new stage for next season.
Fenerbahce is going into move to become much better attacking game but time would show what would happen with team when new seasons starts.
Alanyaspor has made transfer deal with Trabzonspor player Hugo Rodallega.
Alanyaspor has made transfer deal with Trabzonspor player Hugo Rodallega which Black Sea side has been willing to sell during this summer transfer window and was glad to make this transfer deal before start of summer transfer window.
In other hand, this transfer deal has been good news for Alanyaspor as it was lacking good attacking players following selling its player Vagner Love to Besiktas. Hugo Rodallega without doubt is player which would be able to provide needed performance to achieve aims of competing at mid-side of the table and possibly fight for Europa League spot for next season. Of course, for Alanyaspor to fight for this spot it does need to make even more transfers for next season which it would be certainly to do as transfer window only starts. This is of course good news for Hugo Rodallega who could close to performance which has shown at Akhisarspor before joining Trabzonspor as Alanyaspor as club doesnt much pressure to the player and he could concentrate into showing good performance. Therefore, for now this transfer deal could be seen as win-win situation for all parties as it would strengten for Alanyaspor and Trabzonspor among its main aims during this summer transfer window.
Hugo Rodallega has joined to Alanyaspor and has all chances to improve his performance which he was lacking while playing at Trabzonspor and this could be great beginning from them.
Fenerbahce CEO Ali Koc has joined club's union iftar hence ending boycott to organisation which was run by Aziz Yildirim.
Fenerbahce CEO Ali Koc during yesterday Club's Union meating which was organised by Besiktas CEO and Club's Union CEO Fikret Orman has ended Fenerbahce stand for not joining an event organised as there was iftar dinner.
Such a move by Ali Koc therefore leads to have promised during his campaign for CEO and also post-election that he would get closer into friendly manner with other clubs and this aspect has been welcomed from other clubs CEO.Joining to iftar dinner with Clubs Union, an organisation which has been boycotted for longer time from Fenerbahce CEO Aziz Yildirim, has shown goodwill actions and give signs that he would attending to those events. Looking for reaction from other CEO that their had good time from dinner. Ali Koc after dinner has stated that competition which are shown at the field needs to be confused for club's to fight for common good for Turkish football outside of the field and stating that he sees those actions to be very normal.
Ali Koc once again is showing signs to show new beginning into mindset for Fenerbahce which would only done good job for whole Turkish football and joining this dinner is without doubt is an important move for this.
