What happened in Turkish football today? 19/06/2018
Damien de Silva has come to Trabzon to study city.
Caen player Damien de Silva has arrived to Trabzon yesterday night to have transfer negotiations with Trabzonspor and has asked for an additional time to think about this offer.
Trabzonspor administrator Ozkan Sumer in his statement to the media has stated that main aim of Silva was to look at the club facilities and also look for a city to help him to make decision to join team or not which does show that player is currently undecided but this willingness to come to city shows that he is considering actively about joining team. One of the main focus of the team right now is to build strong team which would be fighting for top positions but will not spend too much cash in transfers as it simply cant afford to do so as been stated by CEO Ahmet Agaoglu and other administrators in several times. It needs to be stated that Caen player does fit into this characteristics as he is good player and has areas in his performance which would strengthen Trabzonspor at upcoming season. Trabzonspor does treat so far this issue patiently with understanding demands of player and it does look like its best way to treat such an issue.
If this transfer would happen or not is likely to become clear in upcoming days as Trabzonspor very likely to make 1st transfer of summer of him if he agrees to come.
Galatasaray has offered 4.5 million euro to Empoli player Ismael Bennacer.
Despite of lack of news of signed contracts between clubs are coming out from Turkish Super League teams, it is needed to be noted that clubs are carrying on their transfer negotiations in very intense manner among them Galatasaray which carries on transfer negotiations with Empoli player Ismael Bennacer.
With having an interest towards Bennacer almost as soon as league has been over in Turkey, Galatasaray are reported to be raising transfer offer towards Empoli from 3 million euro to 4.5 million euro and even through are aiming to make contract deal as soon as possible it carries on intense transfer negotiations with both sides. As team does need to be economical with its transfers during this summer, Bennacer are among few quality players from Europe who could be transferred with not very high transfer salary which mainly shows strong interest from the club right now. Empoli quite reasonably doesnt show strong interest to sell one of its key players in this summer and hence does aim to raise transfer fee as high as it can which due of same reasons discussed above at the article doesnt suit much with Galatasaray but it would try its best to end transfer with him.
Hence, Ismael Bennacer is going into direction at becoming 1st transfer for the team during this summer transfer window and would carry on talking with him and club.
Besiktas focusses to transfer Olympique Marseille player Rafael.
Besiktas is also getting close to make its 1st summer transfer as it is carrying on intense transfer negotiations with Olympique Marseille player Rafael and are close to make transfer deal according to Turkish media.
Besiktas interest towards Rafael has been among first transfer news for Besiktas after season has ended and has done lots of the work with both player and Olympique Marseille to an extend that player is reported to be interested to join team. Stating that Rafael despite of his age still carries on getting high interest from different clubs around Europe and it wont be an easy task for Besiktas and therefore it needs to carry on having talks with all sides if it wants to purchase him. Rafael with his experience in past years would be able to provide big affect and strength to Besiktas for upcoming season as it would be starting with high aims. Only risk with such transfer could be of his lack performance which was observed from Vagner Love and hence there is such a risk but to some extend it could be solved with right transfer politics between sides. Surely, if Besiktas manage to make deal with him it would be among eye-catching transfers during this summer transfer window.
Again, time needs to be given to see how would those negotiations would conclude but Besiktas are certainly seriously with Rafael.
