Cuneyt Cakir needs to show high level performance at one of the toughest games at the World Cup.
Turkish referee Cuneyt Cakir would start his World Cup 2018 experience on 2nd playing date as he would be refereeing Group B game between outsiders of the group Morocco and Iran with aiming to provide positive performance on early days.
As been talked about this announcement at our blog yesterday, Cuneyt Cakir would need to show high level performance to help him to get further at the tournament. Prior to start of the tournament, Cuneyt Cakir has stated that him and his assistants has done great homework studying each team and player who would be participating at tournament. It needs to be stated that during tomorrow's game this referee team does have good advantage with Morocco as it has 5 players competing at Super League and which those referees are familiar with each other. It would be accepted to be high pressure game as both sides would be aiming to get surprising 2nd place or at least aim to keep that chance until last week and hence both teams would be coming out for a win, which makes game more exciting but dififcult to Cuneyt Cakir.
Therefore, it would be important for Cuneyt Cakir to show great concentration and provide great performance as he is only representative from Turkey at competition.
Akhisarspor didnt extend contract with Okan Buruk as latter has demand raise of salary.
Akhisarspor didnt manage to make a deal with its head coach Okan Buruk regarding of extension of the contract as club has offered same salary to play to which Buruk has refused to.
Okan Buruk without doubt has played an important role with side winning Turkish Cup and also showing occassionally highly-praised performance. Therefore, by some it could be seen normal for Okan Buruk to demand for raise of salary as he has all the rights and also taking account that team would be participating at Europa League proper during next season. However, taking account economical conditions which club as among others around country it wasnt willing to provide raise of salary which therefore made it even difficult for club to make a deal. It needs to be noted that right now team would be looking to find good replacement for Okan Buruk as without doubt it has raised its targets for next season with Europa League being there and hence would be looking for coach who would be willing to get high aims with reasonable price for them.
Okan Buruk did demand rightfully for raise but in same time he needed to be aware of economical situation club at and hence did ignore this factor a bit.
Fenerbahce is likely to end contract with its head coach Aykut Kocaman.
Uncertainty about future of Fenerbahce head coach Aykut Kocaman still is taking place as both coach, club CEO Ali Koc and sports director Damien Comolli are discussing about possible changes for next season.
It needs to be stated however that Comolli and Koc during press conference yesterday did provide some signs about his future. Their had stated that among Turkish coaches he would be their only coach but their are looking for foreign coaches as alternatives which certainly could be seen that their looking for foreign coach and dont plan to keep Aykut Kocaman for next season. Stating that it does look all bodies are willing and have great communication among each other but it does lay decision more about of the club rather than good relationships focusses into targets which team has for next season. It is expected still that announcement would be made either to keep him or leave and it does look for outside that very likely Comolli and Koc are having some works and negotiations secretly with number of coaches and would announce when their found him or if their dont manage to Aykut Kocaman would stay as coach.
Therefore, the final decision looks to be made at the upcoming games about future of the Aykut Kocaman at the club.
