What happened in Turkish football today? 04/06/2018

Turkey would conclude its friendly games against World Cup hosts.

Turkish National Team would play its last international friendly game during this summer as it would be meeting against Russian National Team which is preparing for World Cup 2018 which would be taking place at their home ground.

It needs to be mentioned that both national team in the strength and also problems which their experience are in very similar condition and by many pundits, including Russian ones, it is believed that Russia would not even qualified for World Cup if it took place in different location. Turkish National Team also is not at its best days but does aim to build strong future with focussing into youth players and could experience pretty tough game as Russia would be aiming to show good football with their fans in Moscow as it would play last friendly before start of the tournament. This could be also be advantage towards youth players in Turkey as their would experience pretty tough conditions with their fans which could be crucial for them. Russia naturally would be also more focussed and aim to show good game so it wont be an easy game for Turkey. Even through all criticism towards Russia it needs to reminded that it is hardest opponent during this friendly game.

Turkish National Team would be coming out to most toughest opponent in this period and would be aiming to show good game especially taking account that next opponent would be once again Russia for them at Nations League.

Fenerbahce CEO Ali Koc would be aiming to get an attacking team for next season.

Fenerbahce new CEO Ali Koc would provide an important boost for the club which have high promises to build team back into glory days and what is crucial here that he has all capabilities to do so with having great footballing vision and also cash in its hands.

As was remembered, prior to an election period Ali Koc has managed to identify all of the issues which Fenerbahce which is economical and also club not having glory days in its hands and even through by some it might be seen populist statements, it is clear that he has all chances to solve those issues even through it would be difficult. Stating that not too much hopes needs to be given towards him as he stated himself it is difficult task their had. Some media outlets for instance are talking about even Luis Enrique becoming head coach of the team but this would see as too much in this moments for sure. Stating that Ali Koc would have pressure for upcoming season and at least to show very good football with attacking style at which to succeed that it needs players and head coach which can provide that. If side would not show this kind of performance he might get some criticism, but with Ali Koc also wanting for team in this manner he would do his best for certain to achieve this aim and would certainly do his best to achieve that and hope that all of his works would be paid off next season both in domestic and also at Europe.

We would see if Fenerbahce would move forward as team in upcoming season but there is reasonable expectation for that to happen.

Aykut Kocaman could stay as Fenerbahce head coach if he would be willing to focus into attacking game.

Staying at this dicussion and aim of Ali Koc at the club, there is questions if Aykut Kocaman would stay at the team or not for next season. It is known that Ali Koc does have good relationship and respect with Aykut Kocaman but style of play which Kocaman has doesnt suit Koc aims.

It needs to be remembered still that with character with Ali Koc and also relationship which both had after 2011 match-fixing scandal, as Ali Koc was an administrator at the side, he would seeing Aykut Kocaman as an opportunity during talks which would be taking between both side. It is crucial for Aykut Kocaman to change style of play and also for certain an attitute towards players as he had towards Mathieu Valbuena this season and also with Alex which led latter to be "kicked out" from club. If Aykut Kocaman would seek for much more attacking football than he does it would not be enough. It would be expected that Aykut Kocaman would remind that he has showed an attacking game as it is team which has most goalscoring moment but this would not satisfy Ali Koc. The rapport from Aykut Kocaman and talks with Ali Koc would decide his future at club and if he wants to stay as clubs head coach he would need to provide some changes with how he controls team.

Therefore, this blog still keeps chance of Aykut Kocaman staying at the club but he needs to do many convincing towards Ali Koc in upcoming days.
