What happened in Turkish football today? 21/06/2018

Both Basaksehirspor and Besiktas are interested with Emre Akbaba.

Both Basaksehirspor and Besiktas are aiming to transfer Alanyaspor player Emre Akbaba during this summer transfer window as the player has great potential to move both sides one step ahead in performance wise for next season.

It is known however that Alanyaspor is reluctant understandably to sell one of its key players who provides great performance in their limited attacking side and hence it does look like both sides need to give lots of negotiations and work for this deal to take place. It is reported meanwhile that Basaksehirspor had talks about Emre Akbaba back on mid-season transfer window and both sides has got into good relationship which means that during transfer negotiations Alanyaspor has put them into priority. Hence, Besiktas now needs to either wait how negotiations would take place or provide much better offer compare to their opponets. With Alanyaspor either aiming to keep player or sell him for high price would mean that both clubs would have intense negotiaitons for him.

It does look like during this summer transfer window Emre Akbaba would be among most discussed players and time would show how negotiations would be ending in this triangle.

PSV Eindhoven are reluctant to send Cocu to Fenerbahce.

Even through Fenerbahce carries on intense negotiations with PSV Eindhoven head coach Phillip Cocu and even has ended contract with Aykut Kocaman, the club still didnt make final deal as Dutch side are reluctant to sell coach.

It is reported meanwhile that Phillip Cocu wants to join Fenerbahce as a chance to develop his career and tries to convince them to leave him but it needs to be remembered that from PSV Eindhoven side their are having coach who has brought one of the best periods in recent period at the club and hence doesnt want to lose such an important coach for them and hence are showing strong resistance both to Fenerbahce and Cocu demand to leave team. Still, it does look like Cocu is being only focus for Fenerbahce right now and aiming to make deal in fast and effective manner without affecting relationship with PSV with each other and also with Cocu. It would be pretty interesting how long this resistance of PSV would take place and if Fenerbahce would be able to make deal with Cocu.

Fenerbahce has strong advantage of factor that Cocu wants to join them but it does have difficult task among coach himself to convince PSV to sell him.

Girona are interested to transfer Fenerbahce player Ozan Tufan

Girona are reported to be interested to transfer Fenerbahce player Ozan Tufan, which Istanbul side are aiming to sell during this summer transfer window in either way.

Therefore, this Girona interest would be treated as good news as it would be able to affect FFP guidelines with openning opportunity to make some transfers during this window. Again, it is not reported how much does Girona offer as transfer so it is unclear if this factor would make club. Meanwhile, with Ozan Tufan being unwanted man would likely mean that he would not recieve much playing time next season so it could be good option for him to leave club and it is very likely that he would consider this factor also. Therefore, it is important here what kind of offer would

Girona provide which would also show how much their want to transfer him this summer.
Therefore, the negotiations would only start but it is clear that Fenerbahce would sell him with good price straight away.
