What happened in Turkish football today? 31/10/2017

Fenerbahce has lost an opportunity to get closer to top with making simple defensive mistakes.

Fenerbahce has provided once again very poor performance with its defensive performance as it has conceded 3 goals with very simple mistakes during Super League 10th week game against Kayserispor as the game ended with 3:3 scoreline.

Fenerbahce was winning game at the 62nd minute with 3:1 scoreline and did look like it would be able to provide calm football which would lead them for a win. But instead the game has been continued with Fenerbahce losing control of the game with making simple mistakes and losing concentration which hence allowed Kayserispor to move forward and finding two goals from very simple mistakes from Luis Neto and needless foul from Hasan Ali Kaldirim, which led them to find an important goal from free-kick from Gyan. This blog has stated for long time right now that the team has very big issues at the defence and this has become even more visible from yesterday performance. Meanwhile, another aspect has been of substituting one of the best players of the team Mathieu Valbuena to the extend that Kayserispor head coach Marius Sumudica and player Deniz Turuc admitted that their would lose game if he stayed at field.

Fenerbahce has lost very important opportunity to get closer to the leaders Galatasaray but with only 1 point gained it has now reduced difference to 7 points and still needs to do a lot to get to league title race.

Besiktas are aiming to get to the last 16 with 2 games in spare.

Besiktas are getting ready for Champions League Group G 4th week game against Monaco and are aiming without doubt to carry on their incredible 100% record at the tournament and make it certain to be at the knockout stage of the tournament.

As been mentioned lots of the time by this blog, Besiktas are showing two total different performances at the Champions League and Super League this season and by certain many people in Turkey, and not only Besiktas fans would be awaiting to carry on like this against Monaco tomorrow evening. Without doubt Besiktas are aware of importance of the game and hence would be using this advantage with strong support from their fans and would once again provide an attacking football. In fact, providing similar performance as their did when their won them with 2:1 scoreline in Monaco would be more than enough as been mentioned fans would push team forward. In other note, it became clear today that Caner Erkin will not be playing at game due of decision of coaching team with rumours that this is affected to 6-game ban given from PFDK.

Besiktas does come out with different focus from domestic league against Monaco and does look to be a favourite at the game tomorrow where it would aim to get to the last 16 with 2 games left at group.

Hugo Rodallega head butt during Turkish Cup bring him many issues.

Professional Football Disciplinary Committee has announced today 3-game ban to Trabzonspor player Hugo Rodallega for red card he has recieved during Corum Belediyespor game at Turkish Cup 4th round game towards Yakup Kayis.

Among that Corum Belediyespor player has announced that he would opening defamation case against Rodallega as he states that there was foul language used towards him which led him for this head butt. As been mentioned before it does look like that Kayis didnt use this words to Hugo Rodallega and among recieving this ban he does have much bigger issues as the team might also consider to give him some fine if Kayis would be right that he didnt use foul language. Therefore, it does look like this issue would be building up in upcoming weeks and this are only start of the bans which Rodallega would recieve. It does look like Hugo Rodallega actions towards Yakup Kayis would create many problems. It needs to be stated that this confident moves from Corlu Belediyespor only makes his point only stronger and hence this story might turn into their favour.

However, there is possibility that Rodallega is one who is right in this issue and hence some time needs to be given to figure out about the issue in more understanding manner.
