What happened in Turkish football today? 13/11/2017

Turkey has provided another dissapointing performance against Albania.

Turkish National Team carries on providing dissapointing performance at their friendly games this time losing to the Albanian National Team with 3:2 scoreline in Antalya with having 50 minutes playing 11 men against 10.

It might be argued that this being a friendly game and hence it should not be too much criticised however taking account that team main aim is to become a strong team for Euro 2020 Qualifiers and also providing bright for the future in general. Therefore with this poor performance during today against Albania and also against Romania doesnt provide much hope with players not being concentrated to game and also playing slow dismotivated game. This slow football doesnt really fit to the Super League season to some extend and sadly show, for national team, that league is being mainly dominated by foreigners which makes league this season watchable. One of the few positive aspects of the game is goal from Emre Akbaba as soon as he entered to the and has found goal straight away as he is one of the promising players. It needs to be stated that Albania has provided defensive game especially after recieving red card, but more worrying is Turkey also playing slow football and hence helping opponent to play game which it wants.

Albania has provided a good defensive game especially after red card but has provided good controlling game making number of good chances including finding three goals. Even through this blog did state that Albania is easy opponent, their did in same time perform better performance at Euro 2016 compare to Turkey and it was clear during today's game why.

Turkish National Team has had very poor performance at the games against Romania and Albania and it became clear that Turkish National Team head coach Mircea Lucescu doesnt only have issue to work on team, but also study potentiality of the players until March friendly games.

Noone wants to become CEO of Karabukspor.

Karabukspor CEO election has been moved to 20th November as there was still not single candidate given for the position following surprising resignation of Feridun Tankut from his position earlier this month.

Even through it is not entirely clear why did Tankut has resigned in 1st place, the offcial statement has been given due of him and his administration team uncapable of giving enough support. Even more interesting however is the fact that there is not single local or national businessman who is willing to become CEO of Super League team and provide high number of investments towards club which could raise of course some issues at the team as there is no leader right now at the club. The election has been moved until 20th November and there is hope that there would be at least one candidate to take away role of this important position. Turkish media doesnt discuss about any serious issue at the team and it is true that all clubs have financial issues but nothing extra at Karabukspor but there is chance that case might be unreported as noone seems to be interested with this position.

This week is important for Karabukspor current and also future situation and our social accounts will cover what developments would take place at the club.

Bursaspor player Bilal Kisa has become injured for 6 weeks.

Bursaspor player Bilal Kisa has become injured during training game against Bursaspor youth academy team and it has become reported that he will not be able to play for 6 weeks due of this injury at his leg.

Bilal Kisa are among one of the most experienced players at the Super League right now and taking account that even through Bursaspor did show some good results in recent weeks it still not having perfect season. With having an injury of Bilal Kisa could certainly provide some issues at the team even more for upcoming games and it is usually surprising for player to get an injured at only training game as there tend to play not as much passion as with official games. Surely, Paul Le Guen would have some issues for upcoming games and he would need to look for solutions to this but he does have enough strength squad to solve it but the loss is big.

Unfortunately for Bursaspor, Bilal Kisa will not be able to help team until January and surely team would hope to not make this injury affect to negatively to the team.

Results:
International Friendly Game:
Turkey 2:3 Albania
