Ukraine has been team which deserved to win against Turkey.
Turkish National Team has lost to the Ukrainian National Team with 2:0 scoreline during World Cup Qualifier and now has put itself into pretty difficult task of getting qualified to the World Cup next year in Russia. What was more worrying that Ukraine has controlled game from start to end.
Turkish National Team has failed to get control of the game during whole game without being able to create many dangerous chances at the front and has provided one of the easiest games to its defence. It needs to be noted that both goals has been scored due of mistakes of the referees as 1st goal was an offside while 2nd the ball has been assisted from outside of the field which certainly has led Ukraine to win game. But unfortunately it needs to be noted that the way both teams has performed overally Ukraine has been one to deserve today's win. 1st game as head coach for Mircea Lucescu has not went as he has planned for certainly and the way he expected his players to perform is not going well. Despite of Finland winning Iceland earlier today this result doesnt make things easier as it has lost its game but still keeps them into race for 2nd place.
Ukraine as been mentioned has control of the game for most time of the game and has created great chances even towards the end of the game focussing into attacking football which showed it was prepared more to the game compare to Turkey.
This performance has been very poor from Turkey and didnt respond to new expectations and performance for its supporters and its need to improve at the game with Croatia to still have an aim for World Cup.
Robin van Persie shows different sacrifice at Fenerbahce and national team.
One of the most talked points of this national team break apart of Turkish national team has been about attitute of the Fenerbahce player Robin van Persie regarding of his injury at the Fenerbahce and Dutch National Team.
In other words, how he has shown two-face attitute. As it is known Robin van Persie has not been playing for number of the games for Fenerbahce as he had complaint about his injury while when he joined his national team squad prior to World Cup Qualifiers against France and Bulgaria he has stated that he is injury is not serious and he would be able to play. In fact, he did play for Holland agaisnt France for 26 minutes providing high quality of football. However, he did become injured at that game and now is taken from squad. What is discussed is not either Robin van Persie is injured or not its clear he is not at same level as he was before. But his priority has changed and he is clearly not giving all of his focus and performance with Fenerbahce which by itself raises issues at the team.
Most of the coaches in recent years at Fenerbahce still had and have hope towards him as he is quality footballer but his attitute does raise some problems and affects to performance of whole team.
Getafe interested to loan Galatasaray player Yasin Oztekin.
One of the few transfer rumours which has been mentioned today in Turkish sports media and discussed has been about possibility of Galatasaray player Yasin Oztekin to Getafe and even through transfer window is closed in Spain there is chance for this deal to be made.
However, if Getafe does show this interest it could be made deal in mid-season transfer window as Yasin Oztekin are among players who Galatasaray plans to give loan and its not among plans with Igor Tudor even he did take place at friendly game against Eyupspor and has shown reasonably good performance. Yasin Oztekin therefore does look that have chance for club to decide his future at the team until mid-transfer window but it is unclear if he would recieve lots of chances to use this opportunity and how Igor Tudor would use him. Stating that if he wants to stay he needs to provide extra effort during training sessions or Igor Tudor will not have much chance to use him this season
Therefore, future of Yasin Oztekin at Galatasaray in the hands of himself until winter at least and he needs to improve his performance at games and even more crucial in trainings.

- World Cup Qualifier Group I game between Croatia and Kosovo has been postponed to 3rd September. Game between Turkey and Croatia on 5th September could be rescheduled.

- Galatasaray has won friendly game against Eyupspor with 4:2 scoreline
- Basaksehirspor has won friendly game against Erokspor with 5:0 scoreline.
