Basaksehirspor showed high level football but didnt find winning goal.
Basaksehirspor Europa League 1st game didnt end as was planned as it has drawn against Bulgarian side Ludogorets despite of controlling game from start to end with creating high number of the chances.
Despite of 0:0 scoreline at its 1st game, Basaksehirspor did carry on its top performance at the Europe with dominating game from start to an end but due of unluckiness didnt find a winning goal. It needs to be stated that team has controlled game due of whole field with attackers doing their job while their defence didnt allow Ludogorets to get close to the goal a lot. It needs to be stated that Ludogorets did get involved a lot and also did save high number of the chances and has played surely an important role for such a scoreline. This scoreline could be also given to the nervousness which still existed among players as playing 1st group stage game and does provide to upcoming games at the group as the team still has chances to get to the play-off rounds of Europa League.

Konyaspor has started Europa League 1st week game against Marseille as it has lost game due of lack of experience and lack of the quality especially taking account that their French opponents didnt provide a great performance.
The issue of Konyaspor has been affected of the issue which has been discussed lots of the time during last season Europa League which is providing too much defensive football and lacking of going forward. The team despite of having quality factors seems to be scared too much to go forward and without providing risky football at the Europa League will not help them to get high points in this season also. The level of the Europa League is not same as Super League and hence it would have an issue at this tournament. Taking account that Mustafa Resit Akcay has shown a good and attacking football with Osmanlispor during last season this case could be related of not having players who would be able to provide an attacking football and hence it has led for head coach to have unlimited performance. The team did lose with one mistake during the game but it could have turned game into its advantage.
Olympique Marseille didnt provide its best performance but this was enough for them as Konyaspor didnt show very high level performance and has shown lack of attacks during the game so it was fair result for French side.

Besiktas has shown high level performance against Porto.
Besiktas has started its Champions League campaign of 2017-18 with a confident win against Porto with 3:1 scoreline where it has shown top class performance and has deserved to win the game.
It was expected by many that game would be a tough one and Porto would be one to control game due of its good form performance during this season, experience at European football and also poor record with Turkish clubs against Porto. But quite opposite has took place as Besiktas has shown Champions League level performance on the night and hence has won game in well-deserved manner. Even through its still not clear if Besiktas would be able to get to play-off round as only one game is played, it did show that with such game and level of football this season could be one where it would be able to get to its high spot and mark its mark. As it is known that competing at Champions League does give your name in European but to be seen as high level its important to get to the play-off round. Star of the game has been undoubtedly Cenk Tosun with great goals but whole team has shown high level performance on the night.
Now its important to continue such high level performance during next game at the group against Leipzig and aim seriously to the last 16 place as it has shown that it can get there after 1st game.
