Galatasaray has drawn game with finding lots of excuses.
Galatasaray has experienced its 1st loss of points during Super League 4th week game against Antalyaspor as it has drawn game with 1:1 scoreline at the 84th minute from Samuel Eto'o goal as the team was aiming to win game with minimum scoreline, tactic which is always dangerous against any team.
Following the game, Galatasaray head coach Igor Tudor has found reason for such loss of 2 points due of it being game following national team break stating that high number of players has come from different system based at national sides and became tired. Even through Tudor is correct about this there were many other teams at the Super League who had similar condition and has managed to win game, namely Besiktas and Basaksehirspor hence as an excuse its not strong one even through this did have some affect. However, the factor of being hot and humid weather at one of the most humid cities in Turkey, Antalya is much stronger excuse which could be given to team even through still professional footballers should overpass that also. One of the part which needs to be noticed is that Galatasaray carries on missing its goal from set pieces as Samuel Etoo has scored goal from corner. Galatasaray has shown again that its need to work on this area.
Galatasaray did have some difficult conditions at the game but its biggest mistake was to believe that 1:0 was enough and play to the score and it did have pay price for that by losing its 1st points.
Trabzonspor shows importance of investing towards its youth players.
Trabzonspor has shown very good performance during Super League 4th week game against Genclerbirligi, where players who were seen as substitutes for this season has become stars as it managed to turn 1:0 deficit to 3:1 win during great performance at 2nd half.
Even through all 3 goals has become from foreign players who have been transferred from other clubs during their career, the stars of the game has been ended up being youth players namely Abdulkadir Onur and Yusuf Yazici who have provided two great assists for this comeback to take place. Apart of those two asissts both players has shown character for the game with providing great performance at the midfielding area. This performance also clearly shows how its important to work, investment towards its youth academy as it is main source to make your team stronger and also provide hopefull future for Turkish National Team. Certainly if Mircea Lucescu has viewed that game he would be satisfied with Ersun Yanal providing playing time to those two players. In overall, Trabzonspor has deserved this win especially 2nd half and now would look forward for upcoming games.
Trabzonspor win against Genclerbirligi could be turning point for upcoming weeks however it would have tough game against Basaksehirspor and it would aim to carry on its winning performance on that game this weekend.
Goztepe have shown great start to Super League.
Goztepe, at which this blog has talked about importance of providing good performance as being club from 3rd biggest city in Turkey, has shown best performance from newcomers so far and this taking account that it doesnt have great fixture so far.
Goztepe which has started season with games against Fenerbahce on 1st week and Trabzonspor during 3rd week could clearly affected them negatively to the possibly losing those games, however it gained 4 points from those two games and this high motivation has been present at the team at the game against Osmanlispor. Goztepe has started season in properly better way that was expected by many and with this high motivation would likely set for new aims for upcoming games possibly fighting for mid places at the league. Its not easy task, but with experience from Besiktas ex-assistant coach Tamer Tuna who has experienced 2 league titles it would be interesting aim to set for mid-places at the 1st season after return and could mark impressive season.
Goztepe has all aspects for success but its need to stay focussed and provide its best football at each game if it wants to show memorable season to its fans and everyone following league.
