What happened in Turkish football today? 02.02.2017

Fenerbahce forgives Emmanuel Emenike and Gregory van del Wiel.

One of the surprising developments at the Turkish football has been decision by Fenerbahce head coach Dick Advocaat and administration to forgive Emmanuel Emenike and Gregory van del Wiel yesterday with both players restarting training sessions yesterday.

As it was remembered due of unseriousness and lack of effort by both players it was decided prior to start of the midseason transfer window to take from squad and let them find new clubs. However, with both players recieving not much offers which are being unsatisfactorily both clubs did stay at the club having seperate training sessions to stay at the form. With Fenerbahce being aware of chance of not selling them and also with fact that team has recieved  poor results lately it was decided to forgive them. Right now club and fans would certainly hope that both players has taken lesson from this and would now focus more into training sessions in upcoming weeks.

Both Gregory van del Wiel and Emmanuel Emenike can provide great performance, with Emenike proving that in several times in past games if their will provide good football and full focus. It will become clear if their succeed that.

Basaksehirspor are not out of title race in sense of performance.

Basaksehirspor is still being one of the main teams to carry on its title race with Besiktas and Galatasaray and also Fenerbahce for now and despite of some signs of reduction performance and Besiktas improviding their football, their are still strong at the title race.

Interestingly, Basaksehirspor administration still doesnt want to mention the factor that their can league title with club CEO Goksel Gumusdag stating that the aim prior to season was to get to the top 3 at the end of the season and title will be an extra bonus. With how league develops now and assuming that Basaksehirspor carries on similar performance it would achieve its aim. It has only lose one game for whole season which was against Fenerbahce at game where it was at their best while
Fenerbahce has shown great performance. It had also some trouble at last game against Kasimpasa but last minute goal has led them regain motivation. Even through Turkish Cup last 16 game against Galatasaray is at different competition the possible win will give high confidence boost for league title.

It would be foolish for Basaksehirspor to get out from title race and it will not be huge surprise if team become champion but it is very hard job for them as games will get harder by each week and so is pressure.

Big clubs around Europe are interested with Caglar Soyuncu.

Performance by the Turkish player Caglar Soyuncu at the Bundesliga club Freiburg carries on getting huge coverage and focus around Europe as number of clubs are interested to transfer him with him being one of the wanted players in summer quite possibly.

During today's media reports it was reported that Manchester United is especially interested with Caglar Soyuncu and folowing his performance at the Freiburg which could lead for a transfer of Turkish star player to Premier League side. It has also been reported that Russian club Zenit has offered an impressive 15 million euro for him during this past transfer window. All this interest should not be taken as an surprise as he performs a great performance at the Bundesliga, and is accepted to become one of the potential stars of footballing world with gaining current motivation at tough league being big advantage.

Caglar Soyuncu needs to carry on this impressive performance if he wants to go ahead and he has all potential to achieve turning into worldwide star player.
