Napoli and Omar El Kaddouri keep changing transfer offers towards Trabzonspor.
As it tends to be at almost every transfer window there is seems to be interesting news at the last day of the window which becomes one of the most interesting development of whole period. Even through it could be hard to say that for this window due of other matters, loss of Napoli player Omar El Kaddauri was biggest shock to Trabzonspor and in whole window at Turkey but it was still unexpected way how news developed.
It became clear that Trabzonspor were interested with Kadaouri since summer and were willing to transfer him but due of economical issues it didnt so for sure it aimed to transfer him at this period. All of the parties has had intense negotiations between each other so far that Omar El Kaddouri even made principal agreement with Trabzonspor. However, according to the Trabzonspor general manager Gencaga Meric both player and Napoli were giving different transfer offers which hence led Trabzonspor to stop negotiating between parties. Therefore, the case can be that Trabzonspor actually changed mind to purchase him and club had continued with successful negotiation with Empoli instead rather than Kaddouri leaving to Empoli behind Trabzonspor back.
However, it needs to be stated that Trabzonspor is among teams which seems for now to have very good midseason transfer window and hence factor of not getting Kaddouri surely prevented them to be even stronger but with level of other players it wont be big loss for them.
Fenerbahce might be looking replacement for Volkan Demirel.
There are rumours at the Turkish sports media that Fenerbahce are unhappy with recent performance of club goalkeeper Volkan Demirel and does consider to find replacement for him during summer transfer window.
The argument for that lies to the factor that club didnt yet provide extension offer to the legendary player. There are rumours at the media that administration are unhappy with his recent performance at the Super League and does see him as getting old for being useful to the team which needs to be is very debatable as during this season he really has performed poorly at the last games against Kayserispor. There is rumours going on that one of the main candidates as an replacement is Basaksehirspor goalkeeper, who also played for Fenerbahce, Volkan Babacan and Harun Tekin. This two are clearly are having good season and its normal for Fenerbahce to be interested with them, but
it is still questionable if their much better than Volkan Demirel.
Of course, this news should be treated as rumour and could be an aim to fill the pages at the post-transfer period when amount of news gets less, but again it could be true and this rumours will be going until either Fenerbahce will sign extension or would announce that he will leave team at the end of season.
Konyaspor coach Aykut Kocaman might replace Fenerbahce coach Dick Advocaat.
Another eye-catching rumours at the Turkish sports media has also been about Fenerbahce, this time that the club considers to end contract with its head coach Dick Advocaat and replace him with Konyaspor head coach Aykut Kocaman.
Fenerbahce head coach Dick Advocaat with his comments which is aimed to criticise players performance and how club is being administered does show signs that he is wanting to leave club even through he states that due of being honest. There is also questions regarding why he keep criticising team and not trying to find solutions as he is been at this spot for half an year. It does provide an image that Advocaat is unhappy at his current spot even through this could be also an aim to motivate players by criticising them. Regardless of what the case, there is talks at the media that club are interested to bring back Aykut Kocaman to role of the head coach but this could be hard aim as Konyaspor administration always stated that their have no aims to send him to other team and Kocaman also being happy at the team.
The time will show if to what extension Fenerbahce are interested to end contract with Advocaat and are interested to appoint Kocaman instead and what would be reaction of Konyaspor of this rumour.
