Basaksehirspor carries on dream-like start of the Super League this season with managing to win one of the top 4 teams in Turkey, Galatasaray with 2:1 scoreline at Turk Telekom Arena. With this win, Istanbul side shows that it doesnt aim to give its leadership to other team in this period of time at least.
In recent years, the game between those two sides has been taken place in exciting manner with high dangerous attacks and scorelines including 3:3 draw during last season. However, this game with possibility of circumstances this game could have to both sides it was played at much slower pace which has allowed Basaksehirspor to control game much more easier and get the result which it was seeking for. Galatasaray at such an important game had a serious problem at creating dangerous chances and players didnt look themselves that their were satisfied with the performance. Galatasaray as stated has shown decrease of the performance since losing to Trabzonspor 2 weeks ago and it has lots of to do in this national team break as the strength side of the team is going down. Surely, this performance will not be enough against Fenerbahce after national team break.

Fenerbahce has provided a great revenge for 4:1 loss in Manchester at the previous game to the Manchester United during Europa League 4th week game providing a great defensive game and showing one of the best games of this season yesterday.
This was among few games, in fact other one being at the Feyenoord, where teamwise Fenerbahce has shown great performance especially at the defence where it tried its best to reduce chances of the Manchester United to go forward and create chances. It needs to be remembered that Manchester United was having poor performances lately and due of this it has shown poor performance yesterday also and not because it wasnt taking game serious. In fact way team played after Wayne Rooney have scored on 89th minute has shown seriousness of the team. One of the key points at the game meanwhile has been small argument between Fenerbahce player Simon Kjaer and Manchester United player Zlatan Ibrahimovic where both had very heated argument. It was specifically interesting how referees has decided to only end issue with talks even through Zlatan showed physical contact both with Kjaer and referee. Looks like his ego saved him but its unlikely that UEFA will not punish him for this behaviour.
After such an important win for Fenerbahce it is will focus into next Super League game where it would be going with high motivation, and also aim for a win during next Europa League game against Zorya.
