Besiktas has got an important point against Napoli by keeping game in the middle.
Besiktas carries on its Champions League this season without losing any points and obtaining in total of 4 points from its main opponent at the group Napoli after 4th week game with 1:1 scoreline. This is taking account that many of the key players were not available at the game yesterday.
Besiktas has provided very tactical game mainly focussing into defence and midfields area as it was aware that it could concede high number of chances from Italian side counter-attacks. Without having key players as been mentioned at previous blogs, Besiktas has provided main focus at not conceding and after yesterday's game it has obtained 5 points and being currently at 2nd place it has advantage at its hands prior to two games at the group, even through its only 1 point behind. Besiktas head coach Senol Gunes still with limited amount of players at its hand for a game has managed to provide best starting 11 which was able to prevent for Napoli to score a goal even through it did create number of chance. Besiktas has mainly kept game at the middle and that went into their advantage.
Besiktas carries on group stage without losing game and this performance could be enough for them to get to the next stage, as 4 points would very likely be enough for them to see next stage of the tournament and its just crucial to stay focussed for set task.
Fenerbahce aims to provide similar performance as it did with Feyenoord against Manchester United.
After losing to the Manchester United with 5:1 results, Fenerbahce would meet against them at the Europa League 4th week game where it would aim to provide revenge in the Istanbul and also provide similar surprise result it did to other side at group Feyenoord.
This game is certainly also taken an important place after losing game against same opponent in Manchester 2 weeks ago and it is crucial for Fenerbahce for not losing the game but its needs to be stated that physically and mentally Fenerbahce is at the good focus right now. Following 5:1 loss to them it has managed to win Konyaspor with 1:0 scoreline and 5:0 against Karabukspor, and by this statistics would come out against Manchester United with great confidence and motivation and aim to carry their chance to get to the knock-out stages. Meanwhile, British clubs tend to have tough times at the Istanbul for long time and hence using factor of the supporters Istanbul club would aim to get surprising result.
One of the main questions prior to the game has been if Fenerbahce will be able to provide similar performance as it did in other game at the group against Feyenoord, and there is high chance it would be able to do that.
Villarreal will provide much focus game against Osmanlispor this time.
Osmanlispor would once again meet with strongest team at the group L, Villarreal and this time at the Spain. It would aim to provide similar performance it did against them in Ankara but it could be a pretty tough one for them.
