Trabzonspor failed to win at the farewell game at the Huseyin Avni Aker Stadium.
Trabzonspor dıdnt manage to win at the Huseyin Avni Aker Stadium where it was playing its last game until moving to the Akyazi Stadium as it has lost to the Antalyaspor with 1:0 scoreline during Super League 11th week game.
Trabzonspor has been seeing this game as the chance to restart its winning ways at the league as it was aware that it needs to get points right now. Trabzonspor has started game in fact in such a way with providing an attacking football but it needs to be stated that Antalyaspor has shown too much defensive play which could happen to the atmosphere and way Trabzonspor was going forward. Fenerbahce carries on its impressive tally of not to Galatasaray which it has since 1999, to 18th season but even more importantly it has carried on its impressive performance which it has shown in last 4 games both domestically and at the Europa League.
Fenerbahce has shown with its performance at the game that it was much better organised compare to Galatasaray and were focussed to win the game without providing much mistakes around the field. Even through it didnt manage to be in top regarding of the possession it needs to be stated that tactics used by Fenerbahce behind the ball, were used in an effective way which led for Galatasaray not to enter at the penalty zone. It needs to be stated that Galatasaray was showing big decline of its performance at the recent weeks and it wasnt big surprise for Galatasaray to lose regarding this downside but also not winning in Kadikoy for 17 years. However, the team didnt show any team spirit during the game and also interesting decisions from Jan Olde Riekerink at the starting 11 has raised some questions which includes starting with Nigel de Jong expect of the Selcuk Inan, captain and free-kick taker of the team.
