Cuneyt Cakir has been chosen as referee for derby game.
Central Referee Committee and Turkish Football Federation as always has announced list of the referees of the upcoming games as there was big interest about who would be refereeing this week derby game between Fenerbahce and Galatasaray on 20th November.
Without big surprise it was given to the most successful and experienced referee in Turkey Cuneyt Cakir who has been refereeing tough and crucial games at the Super League and also around the world. High number of administrators has expected for him to be referee due of his strong name.
Stating that he is among referees who the Turkish media and pundits things that is doing better at European football than at the Super League.Main reason of this is being under pressure from clubs and media in Turkey. Cuneyt Cakir is the best referee who can perform good job until big pressure and surely this being main reason why he has been chosen to referee derby game and also so many things to be at stake for both clubs he would be surely best choice for such a game.
It will not be an easy job for Cuneyt Cakir but his calm behaviour surely would affect how Super League key 11th week game will take place. It is just important to keep balanced refereeing.
Serdar Kurtulus has ended his season due of injury.
It became clear that the Bursaspor player Serdar Kurtulus who became serious injured during mid-week games has completed this season due of his injury to be very serious.
To some extend, as it was stated earlier at the blog he was lucky to only get dislocated ankle as he could break his leg and end his career. So assuming circumstances of the injury, he was lucky to only not play for this season. It is still bad news for the team and their supporters as he is being among key players at the team who played an important role for this pretty successful season for the team. Serdar Kurtulus is great defender as he has shown himself during his stay at the Besiktas and Bursaspor needs to provide extra defensive during the game at the rest of the season. For the medical staff its just crucial to go through this recovery process in slow and effective way.
Once again, Serdar Kurtulus could have ended his career but his serious is still very serious and since he needs to take recovery process slow and steady without rushing too much.
Antalyaspor player Samuel Eto'o is not available for 4 weeks due of injury.
Antalyaspor player Samuel Eto'o has also become injured as it was reported from Antalyaspor medical staff as it feared that his injury might last for around 4 weeks.
At first it was announced that Samuel Eto'o will not be able to play against Trabzonspor at this weekend during Super League 11th week game but later it became clear that his injury could be lasted for 4 weeks. This is surely being big blow to the Antalyaspor that he is certainly most experienced at the player and his absence would have lots of negative impact to the whole team unfortunately. Taking account that Antalyaspor is not performing well this season and club head coach Riza Calimbay urgently needs results to push his team further away from elimanation zone in this upcoming games and it could be very hard for team to manage that without Samuel Etoo.
Antalyaspor would play very hard game at this weekend and as been stated it needs results as soon as possible and failure to recieve it on 21st November could affect negatively to the team mood and aims.
