Trabzonspor got an important 3 points with single goal against Ankaragucu.
Trabzonspor has managed to beat in-form Ankaragucu at away game with single goal from Edin Visca as side has shown much more stronger and an attacking game and hence did show some important improvement at the attack.
It could be argued that Trabzonspor did only convert one chance so stating that Trabzonspor did show good attacking game on the field could be difficulty but in same time it did create some good chances. Trabzonspor as would been expected would now be focussing to get European spots and this win would make them at reaching such an aim. Trabzonspor in generally did use factor of playing without supporters and also critical situation of Ankaragucu into its own advantage with an effective performance and with quality goal from Edin Visca has got important 3 points.
Trabzonspor hence did get an important 3 points and as it revised very likely for 3rd spot for end of the season this win would help them to reach there without doubt.
Besiktas continues to show poor game in first game of 2024
Besiktas continues showing ineffective performance as it continued similar game as we enter to 2024 without providing too much concentration and effort at the team.
Besiktas without doubt with losing at home ground, with last 3 games losing with same scoreline of 3:1, it should be noted that when looking into performance of the team it didnt show much improvement with appointment of Hasan Arat. As been noted several times, Besiktas does need to find solutions for its performance with one way to solve that would be with transfers if it wants to fight for top 4 spots and get European ticket for next season.
Hence, Besiktas crises continues to be taking place and now as side it would need to focus into finding solutions as team confidence and motivation is being very low right now.
Galatasaray will play against struggling Konyaspor.
Galatasaray are going to start 2024 with a home game against struggling Konyaspor as clear favourites as it would be aiming to carry on its race for top spot in the standings while Konyaspor would be seeking for extra points.
Due of some issues which Mauro Icardi got during derby game against Fenerbahce, it has been decided for him to miss some games with Konyaspor being one of them and with taking leading role at the team during this season, Galatasaray head coach Okan Buruk would be looking for alternatives which he has in his hand and also due of some players going to African Cup of Nations this role could be taken by Halil Dervisoglu. Despite of this absences, Galatasaray will be coming as strong favourites as it doesnt provide very good performance at home ground and Konyaspor form is not being very successful.
Galatasaray does look to be favourites but it does look like an extra effort would be needed at attack due of Icardi absences.
