Fenerbahce got well-fought win against Basaksehirspor

Fenerbahce has dominated game from start to an end against Basaksehirspor with creating numerous chances especially taking account that it has played with an extra men during most of 2nd half but did find a goal from Michy Batshuayi penalty goal on last minute.

It needs to be mentioned that it was interesting to see how Fenerbahce would be reacting following unexpected draw from Samsunspor on last week and it needs to be stated that apart of first minutes of the game, Fenerbahce has shown strong willingness with getting high number of the chances but couldnt overpass Basaksehirspor goalkeeper Volkan Bayaraslan and also concentrated defensive game. It needs to be stated that following red card of Basaksehirspor, it was expected for them to provide much more defensive game and this did make things more difficult. Still, Fenerbahce didnt give up and keep on looking for chances and even through it could done more shots onto goal during game, it didnt lose concentration and willingness for 90 minutes. Meanwhile, all this effort did come from penalty position as ball did hit into hand of Basaksehirspor player and Michy Batshuayi did get an important win both for standings and psychologically in this title race with Galatasaray.

Even through Basaksehirspor did start game in quite positive and attacking level, it needs to be mentioned that for most part of the game it has played with defending as without doubt red card did affect. Therefore, it could be noted that defensive wise it wasnt too bad but there could have shown more aggressive game.

Fenerbahce ehnce did get very important win against Basaksehirspor as it couldnt affort to get draw back-to-back and carry on its title race with Galatasaray in full length.

Besiktas continues showing issues with scoring goals.

Even through Besiktas did show some improvement when coming to defensive game compare to Pendikspor at the game against Adana Demirspor, it has continued an ineffective performance at attack especially when it did play with 10 men for all 2nd half.

Despite of finding 11 goals during 1st games with Fernando Santos, it needs to be stated that team got into general performance which it did show during this season with being ineffective at attack and this taking account that it did play with 10 men almost whole 2nd half. When looking into highlights it could be looked like Besiktas did domiante game during 1st half with good chances but possession has been with Adana Demirspor which does provide some worrying image. Besiktas hence continues to have issue at attack due of limited amount of players.

As been noted, this game has shown that honeymoon period for Besiktas is over and Santos would now need to work with realities which are present at the team.

Galatasaray would need to find early goal if it doesnt want to have issues later against Istanbulspor.

Galatasaray did get without doubt motivationabla and confidence boost following 5:1 win against Trabzonspor but it would be meeting with in-form Istanbulspor despite of them being at last spot did get 4 points in last 2 weeks.

It should be made clear that due of confidence, motivation and quality factor Galatasaray would be coming as strong favourites and would be expected to get win against Istanbulspor but it wont be an easy win for them as Istanbulspor are being in good form and could believe it get at least point which it must get if it wants to stay at the league. Galatasaray will be playing at home which also would provide them extra motivation for sure and likely would be looking for an early goal to break belief which Istanbulspor might have during game.

Galatasaray hence are being favourites against Istanbulspor but key would be to find an early goal as Istanbulspor would come to game with confidence.
