Galatasaray got tough but important win against Istanbulspor.
Galatasaray has got an important win against Istanbulspor even through it ended up being pretty tough game for 90 minutes especially before Mauro Icardi has been entered to field on 2nd half.
Galatasaray did look to be pretty under stress and pressure during game which could be understood due of risking points in this intense title race and also having some injured players in its hand. It also needs to be mentioned that team didnt expect for such organised Istanbulspor which didnt mainly focus into defensive game, pretty unusual as side was on last spot and it needs to be mentioned that its been Istanbulspor which did go ahead from counterattack. Without doubt turning point of the game has been when scoreline did change from 2:0 to 1:1 after disallowed goal from Istanbulspor has been moved to penalty kick to which Galatasaray did score. After that with entrance to Mauro Icardi, Galatasaray did look more confident and did take control of game as Kerem Akturkoglu find 2nd goal with Icardi making scoreline as 3:1.
Galatasaray continues its title race with Fenerbahce but it is clear that all games would be played under big stress as league continues between 2 contenders.
Trabzonspor continues to lose games but still at 3rd spot.
Trabzonspor continues its decline of performance as it did lose 2nd game back-to-back this time to Rizespor but still manages to stay at 3rd spot in the league.
Trabzonspor performance is going down and shows serious signs of decline of providing an attacking game as it didnt use its chances and Rizespor for sure did look much more confident. Trabzonspor does seem to be lacking an organised and strong attacking game and this areas as been mentioned needs to be solved if it wants to end league at 3rd spot.
Trabzonspor hence does provide poor game and it does need to improve as soon as it can if it wants to fight for European spots in strong manner.
Bayern Munich has made deal with Galatasaray regarding Sacha Boey
It is reported that Bayern Munich did make transfer deal with Galatasaray player Sacha Boey for 4-years for 30 million euro+2 million euro transfer fee.
It has been known for some time that Bayern Munich are showing some strong interests with signing Sacha Boey and did raise at short period its 25 million+5 million euro to 30 million +2 million euro as it was known that Galatasaray did set transfer fee of its player as 30 million euro. With player wanting to leave to Bayern Munich in understandable manner also provided some difficulty at keeping Sacha Boey at its squad. Therefore, to some extend Bayern Munich did provide offer which Galatasaray couldnt refuse in this negotiations.
Without doubt, Galatasray did lose very important player as it fights for title and now it needs to look for strong alternative as there are reports that some players in this position are being on transfer list.
