Besiktas had all-round poor year due of wrong transfer politics.
One of the most dissapointed performance during whole 2023 has come from Besiktas but this has been case especially during 2nd half of the year as it did make wrong summer transfer windows due of bad transfer politics of Ahmet Nur Cebi.
During previous season, Besiktas performance has been at the mixture and to some extend it did have some good ending of the season but it has been too late due of losing previous season and taking this account it was expected for Besiktas to build much stronger team fight for title but it has failed to make strong transfers which would be able to make competitive side with Fenerbahce and Galatasaray. Failing to make strong squad for this season with failing to make deal with some names and losing them to other teams has led them not to provide performance which would make them fight for top spots. Besiktas is going through some dififcult period right now as it aims to make squad which would be able to get some points during upcoming season and make competitive side for next season with new administration of Hasan Arat.
Hasan Arat as been noted on our previous entries has been mainly focussed to identify issues which led for poor performance but didnt have much solutions so far. 2024 team would be focussed to make stronger side.
Trabzonspor performance has been pretty dissapointing since it won title.
After winning league title on 2021-22 season, Trabzonspor has failed to make strong and confident performance with being competitive side and has once again found itself into level of mediocre side.
When it has won title on 2022, it was expected for Trabzonspor to build on that but it hasnt managed to get into that level during previous season and this ongoing season and apart of winning some derby games, it didnt provide performance which been above average which includes its performance against Basel earlier this year as it didnt show much of strength. One of the factors has been sending Abdullah Avci as head coach due of poor performance and also joining team few months ago. Trabzonspor has been on similar performance on 2021 and hence Avci would be transforming into strong and competitive scenarios in similar conditions as it did before but now it would be interesting if Avci would be able to such team which would fight for next season as this season has been ended.
Trabzonspor performance during this season is being unstable and would be fighting for top 4 spot but its main aim as been noted would be to build team for next season.
Sivasspor had decline of performance in 2023
Since mediocre sides performance during season is being unstable for all of them, its hard to choose one specific side which has showed dissapointing performance but Sivasspor to some extend stand out as it tends to fight for Europa League spots in previous season.
Sivasspor has failed to show its strong and organised performance during this season and did lose its attacking game and to some periods did have an issue of injuries which did provide some issues for stability while during this season Sivasspor didnt show stable performance. In fact, Sivasspor has shown some good performance on the field during this season but it hasnt been converted into positive results. It does look like team would need to find some solutions as there are some issues missing and some transfer and tactical changes might need to be changed.
It it hard to predict how Sivasspor would perform during upcoming year but it does have some potential for 2023.

- Besiktas are interested to transfer Sevilla player Oliver Torres.
- BulentUygun has arrived to Sivas for one-on-one appointment negotiations with Sivasspor.
