Fenerbahce didnt show great game despite of winning Giresunspor. 

Fenerbahce has managed to win Giresunspor during Turkish Cup 5th round 1st leg game at home ground with one of the most criticised players Islam Slimani finally scoring goal, at the game which ended up being much more difficult than was expected by the side.

At the game which has been played at empty field, Fenerbahce has failed to reach tempo which was expected towards them and has provided pretty simple game which was easily predicted from Giresunspor who also has shown pretty good attacking game. It needs to provide seperate aspect of Islam Slimani who prior to finally scoring goal after long period, has also find some very good chances but didnt manage to convert them with providing too simple games. It was expected for Fenerbahce to provide different performance at Turkish Cup and to be much more attacking game as it was seen by many as it would have different motivation and confidence, but Fenerbahce even provided worser performance which it at the Turkish Cup and the side has been pretty weak. Fenerbahce carries on providing poor performance and it needs incredible changes during mid-season transfer break and need to get through until that period with maximum gain during last 5 games of 2018.

Giresunspor meanwhile taking account it has poor season at lower divison did provide some good performance and in fact has created much more chances compare to their opponents. With today's performance and also motivation of being able to show good performance could lead team to have some chances during 2nd leg game in 2 weeks time.

Fenerbahce was expected to improve its performance at the Turkish Cup against Giresunspor but team did show poor performance once again and with Islam Slimani finding only single goal could be only positive aspect and hopefully for him more will come.

Galatasaray has got minumum scoreline against Keciorengucu but young players showed good performance.

Galatasaray has managed to get a win thanks to the youth players during Turkish Cup 5th round 1st leg game against Keciorengucu with 2:1 scoreline even through this scoreline would mean that team needs to do lots still during 2nd leg game in Istanbul.

It needs to be admitted that it was important for Galatasaray to get a good result during their game against Keciorengucu and even through it could been argued that it didnt manage to do that with game ending with minumum scoreline, their still had shown good attacking football, creating high amount of the chances. With taking account that condition of the field is not perfect, it still could be seen as good result for them and has gained high amount of motivation and confidence to the players who doesnt recieved much playing time, especially for Atalay Babacan who has scored his first goal with 1st senior game played with an age of 18. Only downside as been mentioned during our entry yesterday, and good news for Keciorengucu, that it still provides them good opportunity to get surprising result at the return game in Istanbul.

Galatasaray is likely to play much secure game during 2nd leg game with high opportunity of providing game with stronger squad on the 2nd leg at return fixture to make next round entry of competition of more secure.

Besiktas will be much fresher during game against Alanyaspor.

Without doubt Besiktas, coming to the aims for Super League, has been most advantage team as it didnt play Turkish Cup due of 1-season ban it has recieved for not appearing at Turkish Cup repeat game against Fenerbahce in semi-final last season.

Besiktas would be playing against Alanyaspor, game which it would be coming out as favourite in all circumstances, but also with Alanyaspor having difficult game in midweek, Besiktas was able to focus entirely this week into this game following a win against Galatasaray. With Besiktas not having great season, it did gain high motivation and confidence in last 2 games at Europa League and also derby game against Galatasaray which it has won with 1:0 scoreline. Stating that it could feel some pressure due of the factor that it has very important game against Malmo during last week of the Europa League group stage as result would have direct impact of it still being at competition after New Year. Besiktas would be coming out as favourite as Alanyaspor does perform poorly against big clubs at the league.

Besiktas as been stated would been much more fresher compare to Alanyaspor during game and this could direct impact to the performances of the team for sure.
