Basaksehirspor has controlled game against Galatasaray but didnt show high level performance.
Highly anticipated game between Basaksehirspor and Galatasaray during Super League 16th week has been pretty dissapointing with its level of performance as for most part of the game it has been played at slow tempo which was controlled by Basaksehirspor.
It needs to be stated that with finding itself 8 points behind league leaders Basaksehirspor, this game has been more crucial as loss of the game could have raise point difference to 11 points which could provide some difficulty to Galatasaray. But interestingly the side which has shown controlled game and occasionally reducing tempo has been Basaksehirspor. Galatasaray it needs to be stated that occassionally look for the chances and has created some moments during 2nd half but still has made some crucial mistakes at the defence. Galatasaray still has shown pretty dissapointing performance at playing slow tempo and couldnt provide much pressure towards Basaksehirspor goal and has found goal with help of Eren Derdiyok penalty goal 12 minutes it has conceded pretty simple goal from Irfan Can Kahveci who has provided simple shot after reflection of Galatasaray player Selcuk Inan.
Even through it could been argued that winner of the game has been Basaksehirspor, Galatasaray did manage to keep them at title race and didnt lose much even through it didnt gain much.
Even through it could been argued that Basaskehirspor has shown high level performance which could be stated has been dominated by them, but it has shown some good high-level performance during 2nd half with providing controllable game. Basaksehirspor is still main candidate to end with title this season, but this game does show it would be difficult task for them even with advantage.
Galatasaray has got 1 point from very important game against Basaksehirspor but to some extend didnt raise point difference but it would not be satisfied with this result and needs to find ways to show high tempo performance.
Besiktas would mainly focus to Super League starting with crucial Trabzonspor game.
Last big game of the Super League of 2018 as calendar year would be between Trabzonspor and
Besiktas as both sides are currently are having 25 points and aim to reduce 9 point deficit from league leaders Basaksehirspor who has lost 2 points against Galatasaray.
Compare to Trabzonspor, it needs to be noted that Besiktas would be coming out with less motivation as it has been eliminated from Europa League after losing its last group stage game against Malmo.
Even through this result would have affected to morale of team, in same time it would mean that Besiktas can now only focus towards league and hence had an extra motivation and focus against Trabzonspor. Besiktas in similar manner as Trabzonspor would be coming out of the side which would be only aiming to win game and keep themself at the title race and get motivation after Malmo game.

Trabzonspor in similar manner as Besiktas, as it has also 25 points and have good chance to raise to 2nd or 3rd place at the table, would be aiming to carry on its high level performance and find themself directly at the title race.
With showing unstable performance, Trabzonspor has shown great performance during this season and without doubt would now aim to carry on high level performance until mid-season transfer window and carry on like that after New Year. Since scandalous season of 2011-12, Trabzonspor has first chance to end to mid-season transfer window at title race with help of Unal Karaman good coaching of the team and also moving team forward. Taking account that whole squad is aware of their aims during this season and this alone has played an important role for players to fight. With players being highly focussed and also belief from fans would be pushing force. Talking about fans it needs to be noted that its crucial how their would respond to Besiktas fans, as ex-Besiktas players Jose Sosa and Olcan Adin has provided feelings at playing at the Vodafone Arena hoping that this talk would not led new players be surprised when seeing and hearing strong Besiktas supporters.
Trabzonspor compare to Besiktas is in much better performance during recent games and this would made team slightly favourite for such important game and get important win.
