Besiktas has started game poorly but ended at highest point.
Besiktas has shown a great comeback during Europa League Group I game against Sarpsborg 08 from 2:0 and from being almost relegated from competition with getting up into control of its fate due of closeness of this group.
Besiktas it needs to be stated has started game in very poor form with conceding too very simple goals from Lorius Karius mistakes and has almost went to 3:0 loss during 8th minute of the game. It did take long time for Besiktas to get into the game as it start showing some signs of attacking game after 20th minute and during 2nd half, especially with last 30 minutes and also performance of Jeremain Lens, has got an important win with dominant game. Interestingly, this has been 1st time in its history at Europe when Besiktas has won game at Europe while losing 2:0 in its history. Still, as been noted Besiktas needs to go through what it has done wrong during 1st minute as it could been relegated. We did see both sides of Besiktas during this game but it was important at least for team to find at high note and start low than other way round for sure. Now team needs to win against Malmo at last week which is only 2 points behind them at the group stage and might even end group as leaders.
Besiktas also has gained important motivation prior to Super League derby game against Galatasaray to take place on 2nd December with high confidence.
Fenerbahce has qualified to knockout stages despite of poor campaign.
Even through Fenerbahce has secured 2nd place and hence qualification to the Europa League 2nd round games, it still has shown pretty poor performance without being able to create high amount of the chances.
In fact, the reason why Fenerbahce has got this point was mainly thanks for Dinamo Zagreb which did come out to the game to get point as it would secure them leadership at the group and also Spartak Trnava drawing against Anderlecht. In all fairness, Fenerbahce didnt show high level performance and has been secured earlier due of dominant Dinamo Zagreb and poor performance of Spartak Trnava and Anderlecht. Stating that players did show all focus and effort for the game, especially Michael Frey which has been among most active players at the field, but due of lack of the players the winning goal didnt come during game. This development would certainly provide motivation for Super League and its good news for club in such poor season to get to knockout stages but this squad is not enough for knockout and it needs to do changes at squad and technical stuff to get further at Europa League after New Year.
Fenerbahce players does show willing performance but this has been not enough to get results and this aspect should be main focus of coaches and administration.
Akhisarspor did show good performance at Europa League taking account its capacity as side.
Once again, Akhisarspor didnt manage to get a win or even its 1st point at the Europa League as it has played against Krasnodar but it needs to be stated that it did try to show positive and attacking game once again.
Despite of away performance against Sevilla and also taking into consideration potentiality of the team, Akhisarspor did show some good performance against Krasnodar as it even found 1st goal and has ended 1st half with 1:0 scoreline. It needs to be remembered that with this squad all players are giving their maximum and even found high number of the goals. Without doubt Akhisarspor would need to show similar performance during last game against Standard Liege, and feel proud for their campaign especially taking account that in overall team is going through diffcult duration also at Super League. This entry could go through into many negative aspects of Akhisarspor which would be found dozen at least as it has lost all games, but taking circumstances its better to look at full side of glass.
Akhisarspor possibly will not be remembered at Europa League, but its positive attitute would provide them an important experience to players and whole club.
